Yes, it was previously a post in the middle of the first thread. I thought I should make the entries easier to find so it's here now.

And that's the plan. I don't want you guys to get used to having it and start thinking of it as part of the background. We need votes!

Heh, yeah this is the first time I heard of the contest so I entered... wish I hopped in on it back when there were more entries. I think I'll try to help with advertising next time so we can have more

Unfortunately, advertising isn't one of my strengths.

I've posted about it at NF and LJ, but that's all I really know about. I have a DeviantArt account for favorites, but I don't think people would be checking that much if I posted about it. I wouldn't.

Thanks. Last ditch effort to at least get some exposure and votes for the entries. They're not terribly creative banners, but since it's after the entry period, I can just gank somebody's fanart and stick some words on it without disqualifying the fanart. (It wouldn't be fair for an entry to be plastered all over the front of the website.)

I think changing it helps - if you keep the same image, you get used to seeing it and then eventually just ignore/skip over it. Having something new and fresh keeps drawing attention. Although it might not have been necessary for just 5 days, it doesn't hurt, right?

Heh well since quite a few people check my DA then I'll advertise the contest on there next time I could also maybe ask the narusaku DA clubs if they'd like to help advertise too..

Well I don't think there were much more entries last contest. Well, there were more more in the art department of course, but the fanfiction department is pretty good this year.

I still have to vote, but I'm always lazy and tend to vote on the last day XD;

Yeah, we're doing pretty good with fanfics. Last time we had 10 and this time 8. But fanarts fell off dramatically. 15 to 4.

The second one had 14 of each. And the first had 22 fanarts and 13 fanfics. So there does seem to be a trend. Could be the keywords.

Sometimes its just hard to get inspired from a writers standpoint =). Keywords have some to do with it, but not alot.

I can sorta relate. I couldn't come up with a drabble for the presentation.
