I've said this in another forum but armless Minato reminds me of Oro with sealed hands/arms.

 

Would he be wanting or needing to do some sealing and someone else would do it for him? like how Kabuto did for Oro?

like hugging his son but realized he doesn't have some arm and wrapping his legs around Naruto would look awkward and might earn him another punch from his son, then thought of THE girlfriend to do the job kinda thing

Well the way i see it Minato has to stay and help his son like he promised he would and say his last goodbye to his son , the way he's now without both of his arms is bizarre and he's unable to help at all he's useless now , i mean what is he supposed do now kick Madara in the ars with his foot ?

To me, as I said earlier, Sakura isn't involved in those "legend-things" or "prediction-things".

 

I just thought of something when ramennamitsu said Kaguya hime might be the same as sakuya hime you see ^^

I thought, oh if some legend inspired Naruto and Sakura then it could links them more ^^

 

It was just a quick thought ^^' sorry about it

 

But just after I verified on wikipedia, and it seems that Kaguya Hime and Sakuya Hime are not the same.

 

I don't know if this is really accurate, I only found this on wikipedia, so it might be all wrong since everybody can write on wikipedia.

I'm not a specialist in japanese legends.

 

Moreover, I think Sakura will stay away of all those legends and predictions because she's supposed to be a normal girl.

 

Is there really a theory about SasuSaku and this Sakuya hime legend ?

 

Also, I was surprised that we didn't get to see Naruto in limbo in this chapter.

I guess Kishi is keeping it for the very last moment.

Well yes there is and it has been floating around for quite some time i think someone brought it up in the New NS Debate Thread but that was a long time ago couple of months maybe , anyway the theory basically is formed from Sakura being shown on a cover on a beach holding a fan (the fan is symbol of the Uciha's) , and this is were the theory comes in that Sakura is Konohanasakuya and Sasuke is Ninigi the grandson of Amaterasu , that's all i remember from it i don't know if that theory has been debunked or not .

 

Man i so want to see Naruto have a talk with Jiraiya and the SO6P i wonder if he will get a some kind of  powerup after that not Kyuubi related that is ?

Nigini as far as I know is the god of storms or something like that which could be very well linked to Naruto's Uzumaki heritage as it means hurricane or something like that. There was a post about that somewhere I will have to find it.
Also Sasuke fits more in the mythology with Susanoo rather thab Nigini and the whole mythology can be more attributed to SasuKarin if anything. As I said, someone wrote a post on that but I can't find it now since I am on mobile and it's harder...

I still haven't read the Kaguya legend or the Hagoromo one so i will try to find it and read it once i get back from work , then i will give my opinion on it , and about the SS one well it seems like @Chatte has something on it so i will wait for that one to .

 

Man before Naruto i didn't know jack squat about Japanese mythology still don't know very much but i find it very interesting and intriguing and want to learn more and more so i thank Kshi for that one .

 Indeed, SS fans like to link SasuSaku and the story of Konohana Sakuya-Hime, because in this mythological story, the prince Ninigi who was sent by the goddess Amaterasu to reign on earth, meet a lord that want to marry him to one of his daughter, he doesn't want and fall in love with the other daughter, Sakuya-Hime, she got pregnant but the prince is convinced she's unfaithful to him. So to prove her faithfulness, Sakuya-Hime caused a fire, and since their children survived through the fire while she died, it was proved to be his children. 

The prince is called Ninigi no Mikoto. The fact that his surname is Mikoto make SS fans link this story to SasuSaku because Sasuke's mother was called Mikoto. And well, Konohana Sakuya/ Sakura-Konoha

 

I also read that some SS fans wer linking the sister of Sakuya to Ino, because there was a rivalry between Ino and Sakura over Sasuke, and in the story, the sister of Sakuya-Hime got mad over the fact Ninigi preferred her sister. 

 

 

But their theory is inconsistent. Except the name Mikoto, there is nothing. Plus, Amaterasu sent Ninigi on earth to bring peace, and who's fated to bring peace in the shinobi world? So, yeah double standard. I really prefer to not pay attention to this story. To me, it has no ink to Naruto.

As for the tale of Kaguya-Hime, I don't see any common point with Sakura. 

Kaguya-Hime is a child, found by a man called Taketori. if I remember correctly, he raises her and at the end of the tale, she go back to the moon, where she comes from.

This subject... I've run into it so many times... indeed, I still find it a little relevant to NH.

I've debated about it very often too.

It's pretty like a full circle, like you said, because this subject keeps on rising on every forum.

 

But if we look only at the manga canon, it's still NaruSaku that prevails.

But you can't completely be sure, because of small things like that ^^

 

It's hard we have to wait for Kishimoto to answer everything ^^

 

About the chapter 665, I thought about something...

 

I don't remember well what time of the day is it in Naruto's world ?

The sun is setting right ?

 

And the day after is Naruto's birthday right ?

Naruto might be revived on his birthday...

ss is more dead than sakura awakening slug sage mode.. and i used to think that kishi's won't leave one of the sage mode out.. but kishi don't care  or a better example.. it's more dead than sasuke right now..

about the nh early picture, kishi says he drew that for funnn. kishi specifically said that it's just to show his manga helper. that is no evidence of anything.

Kishi seems to pick up some things from those legends and then he puts them in another order.
