Well I have one just because it makes the links for you with the code so all you do is copy and paste. You don't need to choose Photobucket if you don't want too, you can always go for image shack or something else. However to be honest I don't know if you need one, I guess you can always write out the code each time you want to add a pic or signature. As to where ppl find them there are plenty of places, Google along as tons of pics, but most ppl make theirs like I do. Hope this helps.

Actually, when you right click on a picture or gif and choose "Copy Image Location", you automatically have the picture's URL to paste. No Photobucket or Image Shack needed.

But isn't that hot linking? Sometimes the owner finds out and removes the image so the link is broken since you are technically leeching off of them and their bandwidth.

It's better if you upload the image yourself, especially if you really like an image and want to use it for a longtime. Plus, you can always make edits to it to make it custom.

Yes, it's bad etiquette to hotlink images from other websites because it's using their bandwidth without permission. Like Onion said, it's best to copy the image over to Imageshack/Photobucket or some other image host, and use the URL from there instead. smile.gif

I guess the internet would be a useless place to bring up the fact that this all involves stealing images headscratch.gif
