My faith is strong because, no matter how strange it sounds, I trust my gut and I trust Kishi's manga. That's my I'mm not afraid of the movie either.

Also, my friend who studies comparative literature just told me her theory that: (and i quote)

"on-panel reiterations of Sakura’s love for Sasuke does not negate the possibility of NS endgame. This is due to several reasons.

First, Sasuke is not guaranteed to reciprocate Sakura’s feelings. Indeed, Sasuke has admitted Sakura as important; however he has never clarified the nature of this importance - not least in a romantic sense. Second, while it is true that Sakura has matured because of Sasuke, it is equally true that the consequences of her feelings have been negatively painted. Specifically, negative themes of betrayal, irrationality and impulsivity have been strongly affiliated with her love (see Kage Summit), bringing its fruitfulness to question. Third, Naruto’s feelings for Sakura have been recently foregrounded (Naruto telling Minato that his love life has taken an unexpected turn). This parallels with the previous foregrounding of Sakura’s love -rather, doubt of its reciprocation- in that the romantic futures of both characters are the same: uncertain. This, by extension, adds weight to Naruto’s love for Sakura - an aspect often dismissed by the opposition. With all of these factors in mind therefore, an NS route rather than SS is plausible. By route, I do not mean Sakura instantaneously falling in love with Naruto; rather, her slowly overcoming the negativity in her feelings for Sasuke and accepting Naruto’s feelings.

Such a route is thematically consistent with the story."

"she suffers from loving you"

Ha. Obviously Kakashi says this is a negative love, i don't think an author would want to write about such a negative and hurtful relationship.

What do you know, this chapter wasn't bad after all :th_yeah:

I know it doesn't mean much in the long run but I love how Sakura was affected by Naruto's strong emotions (and she didn't even look up to Sasuke even though he was fighting a strong opponent).

Overall an I think it was an ok chapter, even though Obirin was not entirely confirmed.

We might get an interesting fight next chapter since Naruto might unlease his full potential now that he is angry
