I'm still laughing at how Naruto's real spouse King Sasuke rescues his fair maiden.

now now apollo remember some of us are from the west and we all have brains to know Kishi is a kittentard money whore.

:hm:  :hm:  :hm:  The ignorance of the mass is more overwhelming than Madara's love for Hashirama's wood.

Hasn't the series been declining for some time though? I can't say that the last few arcs starting with the Kage Summit were able to maintain the high quality of preceding ones like the Itachi Pursuit and Invasion of Pain arcs, and that was around five years ago.

The actual decline started after the Pain arc. Kishimoto painted Pain well for a Villain, sad tragic story, tying in with the Protagonist. The arc was very majestically done. Unfortunately he took the praise he received for it as a sign to use the same profile for every Villain after. It was so repetitive. we have the big bad guy who's causing trouble, seems so evil BUT WAIT then we have the poor sad background story to match. Poor Obito who lost his the girl he wanted to bang and poor Madara who lost his hokage seat.

It got worse when Sasuke was also portrayed in such a light. Itachi being revealed as an agent was good but Sasuke going mad and into a rage filled frenzy was even worse. And then we have Naruto trying to excuse his actions once again.

I love this paring so so much T-T

Hak and Yona have amazing chemistry and their feelings are being developed really well.

When it came to Pain, "nobody came" for Naruto not because they didn't care, but because not only did Naruto tell them not to interfere, but they also knew they would only get in the way (given a bunch of them were injured or exhausted) and make things worse and, surprise surprise, Hinata does just that - gets in the way and makes things worse by "getting killed" (without doing anything of importance except give what is basically a deathbed confessional), pissing Naruto off (which he would have reacted the same way no matter who did it), and almost releasing Kurama, and that would have made all the efforts of protecting the village and its people (especially by Tsunade) pointless, and who knows what other damage would've done as a result. It was only due to convenient seal hax that that didn't happen.

That's not the reason why No-body came. I love how everyone misses the big obvious thing. the Villiage was pushed right back into the side, the battle was going on in the centre and they were all on the outskirts. No one could see clearly what was going on, Hence why Sakura had to ask the Byakugan user what was going and what happened with the seal being unleashed.

As for no aid coming, NH fans overlook one crucial detail. There was a squad of ninja on their way and they were called Team kittening Gai. They arrived moments after Hinata got her smack-down. Not to mention Neiji was already scouting ahead with his Byakugan, either way Pain couldn't have kidnapped Naruto without bumping into them and having a fight on his hands.

If anything Hinata was an absolute embarrassment as a ninja in that. Katsuyu was relaying all the messages and intel Tsunade gathered to everyone, Katsuyu had saved Hinata from the impact but I bet the fact that Pain's power could "theoretically" be countered by focusing Chakra to the feet to steady his pulling and pushing power was overlooked by her. She did displayed no skill what-so-ever and was completely "lol kitten please" stomped. Konohamaru might as well have gone in her place.

They pick on sakura for not rushing to Naruto's aid despite the fact that Sakura's master was currently lying there in a coma and probably extremely weak and frail. When she heard the commotion she asked what was going on. If she knew what was going on why would she ask? makes no sense.

Oh also lets not forget how Hinata-hime's role in the actual invasion. While all of Konoha was being rampaged She was probably hiding out in the Hyuga clan district, with her own Bodyguard I might add. How stupid is that. You're home is being attacked and you've not even asked or suggested he go out and save the civilians who are running around dying and losing loved ones.

Her fans belittle Sakura for not taking part in saving Naruto but in reality Sakura behaved a-lot more better and did more than Hinata could. She took down a summoning, took over the hospital and promised protection for it. Meanwhile Hinata-hime sama was locked her castle hoping Pain wasn't going to come for her to get her irrelevant eyes.

I don't know about that and to be fair, I am not about to dive into cultural differences on what is right and wrong, but what I think is wrong is how these two pairings are based on all the wrongs reasons.

It is sexist towards women because women only exist to be baby-makers and slaves to men, they think nothing else, BUT the men they are after and are seen as terrible women if they move on with their lives away from that love. Traditional or not, modern society has to change it. Otherwise, we cease to expand the human mind and ways that can better human life. We should be fighting against change...we should be embracing it to make life better.

However, this story is also sexist towards men and I will forever be offended as a man by this story. Apparently, our love for a girl is not important and we need to "grow up" from "childish things" (but apparently for women it is not childish.) Our feelings are ignored because we HAVE to be the girl who fell in love with us first regardless of how our feelings are. We are also seen as nothing more than brainless trophies who apparently only want to procreate with anyone willing to open their legs.

I am so sick of everyone keep saying to me how "You didn't see how Sakura was in love with Sasuke," but in reverse they  never saw how Naruto was in love with Sakura or how Sasuke didn't even love Sakura and by all arguments so far....still doesn't. There is no proof, even in Gaiden, that he is in love with Sakura. There is no one panel, no single moment, to prove that love he has for her. As far as I can tell, he is just using her to continue his clan. There is nothing else.

"Well naruto moved on"

Not according to the Last.....and even so why is it okay for Naruto to move on, but not Sakura to move on from her crush?

This double standard is ridiculous.

I'm sure in the coming chapter Sasuke will proclaim his love for Sakura, most likely in the form of a Chidori one hopes.

ITS ENDING NEXT WEEK!!!

Somewhere in the distance, Someone who thinks this Gaiden is the best, is sobbing uncontrollably into his Hinata cutout.

Did anyone else notice Boruto wearing Sasuke's headband and Naruto's orange jumpsuit. Sasunaru fans be like

minions_fangirling_despicable_me.gif

On top of that boruto may be a brat but I would love for him to bully Hinata a bit and make her cry  :fu:  :fu:  :fu:  That would give me some sick pleasure knowing her fandom would now have to protect her from her deranged, evil son.

I know that means older brother. But since we're talking about the child of a specific female character here, it won't be "Oni-Chan".

No, it will be "Oni-kun".

:hm:  :hm:  :hm:  :hm:

Boruto: How do I surpass my dad!

Sasuke: Ask Naruto directly

Boruto: How do I become stronger than you dad!

Naruto: well son first you get a murderous demon beast trapped inside of you. Then you tame it and use its power. Every now and then a new power will appear and you'll be able to control it with no effort. Remember, Hard work is for chumps. :pimp:

So once Gaiden ends in two weeks, is it going to be animated?

Why bother, just take footage from various reality shows about who's the father and just edit in Naruto,Sakura,Sasuke,

#846023 Naruto Gaiden- Chapter 700.8

Posted by Apollo on 19 June 2015 - 11:20 PM

Yes! Naruto's words also reminded me of what Yamamoto told Sakura, about how it's not how big or small her actions are, it's the feelings that are behind them.

Again another mixed message, twisting what was a supportive NS sentiment (from Sakura to Naruto) into a familial statement coming from Naruto indirectly to Sakura. The love and support is still there, now it's just being redelivered in the guise of something else.

Like Kishimoto mixing up his parallels all over the place, I feel like he's doing the same here. He's taking what was a romantic line and repackaging it as a family one, confusing what made it so powerful in the first place.

Shouldn't these lines becoming from Sasuke? (Including the 'Lets go save your mom!') Since when did Naruto become an expert on feelings and parenting, when Sarada knows that Bolt hates him? (And we know that Naruto spends no time with his own kids and family.) Naruto has apparently nothing to do with Sakura and Sarada's lives, so why should she even listen to him?

This whole chapter is a mess. From Sakura's sad look and the implication that they don't have a physical (i.e. real) relationship, as Sarada is rightly suspecting all along. To Naruto's lines of love and support for Sarada and thus Sakura. To Sasuke's absolute lack of concern about Sakura and formal treatment of their relationship.

I loved seeing Sakura drawn so beautifully and showing her characteristic empathy, which we all know she has but doesn't often get in the spotlight. It's nice to see Kishimoto finally treating her character the way he always should have done all along, and not undermining her actions at every turn.

I think you meant Yamato  :hm:  :hm:  Glorious Yama-ji perished at the hands of the Quincy King. Let him stay dead, no point dragging him into this mess  :hm:

My biggest question is: Why did they make Naruto take his Mother's last name to cover up the fact that he's related to Minato??? That makes no effing sense. The Uzumaki clan was literally hunted down for being OP, whereas the Namikaze clan was just a regular ninja family. Plus, if Kushina was the only Uzumaki in Konoha then wouldn't it be obvious that Naruto was her son?? Especially since she literally walked around the village pregnant??

How do we know Minato didn't cheat on Kushina and She just felt merciful and looked after Naruto  :hm:  :hm:  :hm:  :hm:  Stealing babies seems to a fad in Konoha now and we all know Kushina's always ahead of the curve.

if next Villain is Kaguya's husband then I have a prediction.

Kaguya's husband walked out on her to do magical Alien things/atone for not paying the child support. Kaguya's forced to raise Hogoramu/Hamura and as a result goes insane and decides to kidnap the world and turn it into her "playpen". After Kaguya was sealed her husband came back, not to unseal her but to find the incarnations of Indra/Ashura and turn them into Avengers  :hm:  :hm:  :hm:

Now replace Sakura with Kaguya and Husband dearest with Sasuke-kun  :hm:

Just bad mouthed him on his own channel and called him a Hinata fanboy.

It's not even worth it  :lmao:  :lmao: his reviews are just stupid as hell. Most Naruto reviewers dont actually know how to do their job, they dont bother dissecting the chapter and just fanboy/fangirl over one specific part and then towards the end "yeah and that also happened"

Whenever I hear ForeverAlone or whatever I simply tune out  :hm:

not every villain is automatically good just because s/he's "haha im evil just because!" that gets boring really quick

do you guys remember when we had good villains like Orochimaru that made people like Kakashi crap themselves. OR when Tsunade becoming hokage was a big deal.  :lmao:  :lmao:  or when even being a Kage was a big deal.
