You know I realized something about bolt I'd rather have Dante from the dMc reboot here instead sure he's an ass hole but compared to bolt he better. Heck bolt is freaking superboy prime levels unlikable.
1) It really says something Naruto was never promoted. The chunin exams aren't just about power, it's about skill and strategy. The fact Naruto couldn't pass them says something about his character and level of maturity. The fact they would make him Hokage in spite of these shortcomings just adds fuel to the fire that something doesn't add up.
2) Could you post the first vid?
3) Why do I get the feeling they did this so Hinata wouldn't be the only one to not make Jonin? Not to mention imply some form of superiority over the protagonist.
4) On the picture contest, wasn't Naruto one of the judges? Shouldn't he have excused himself if his daughter was participating, citing a conflict of interest? Why do I get the image of a bunch of disheartened kids upset they lost while their parents are upset at how the contest was fixed?
I remember that OVA where Naruto took the chunin exam and faced off against Konohamaru; the former was disqualified because sage powers were banned, which in the context of having child soldiers is pure bull. On that alone Naruto should have qualified as Special Jonin at least! I didn't make a big deal of it then since it was filler, but now...
It really feels like no one is thinking this through:

And others will defend it as Naruto being the typical dumb shonen hero. Here's the thing: most of those characters aren't THAT dumb. They're aware of their shortcomings, and focus on what they excel at, and the story shows they earned it. Soma, Yusuke, Goku, even Natsu to some extent...objectively, most of these characters can have their dumb moments, but they don't aim for something they're not qualified for!
Seriously, why is this series called Naruto again? His friends are higher ranking than him, his rival got his first girl, and even his worthless wife seemingly achieved more in the eyes of the villagers.
Kishimoto, here's the thing about underdog stories: They have to come out on top EVENTUALLY.

I'm of the opinion the manga and anime are two separate canons. The only thing the manga adapted was the movie and they're barely into their first original arc. Add on top of that the terrible artwork, and it's no wonder SP wants to touch any of that. What is there to work with? So they have to make their own material, but if the fanbase believes it is filler, they'll stop watching it, so they NEED it to be recognized as canon.
Granted, they lasted a lot longer on filler than most other anime, but it was clear back then they were stalling. With it's ratings in decline, something HAS to change eventually.
What the actual kitten? WHY IS OROCHIMARU IN THE HOKAGES OFFICE?? WHY IS HE ALLOWED?
Forgiveness. Because in Naruto, everyone deserves to be forgiven without punishment, no matter what heinous acts you did. Because surely, you had a sob story to justify your feelings, right? Never mind psychological evaluations, restrictions, and putting others in danger! Forgiveness is what matters most!
I Was under the impression Naruto COULDN'T forgive Orochimaru for taking his "sex doll boy toy" away! and by that I mean Sasuke Uchiha. I'm of that opinion because that is the only Explanation I can think of and accept on why Naruto was so obsessed over him even though they had a completely unjustified friendship that can't even be called a friendship
But anyway my point is, Wasn't Orochimaru the one that was about to take Naruto's beloved boyfriend's body and soul, the ONE THING Naruto would never forgive?

So, Naruto the hero of the story is helping a wanted criminal/child molester continue his human underground experiments.

Yeah it's not like Orochimaru did anything wrong in the first place.
-Perform illegal experiments on people
-Became a missing-nin (S rank criminal)
-Killed the Third Hokage
-Attempted to kill Tsunade when she was a candidate to become the Fifth Hokage.
-Killed the Fourth Kazekage (Gaara's father even if he was an a*hole)
-Invaded Konoha.
-Threatened Tsunade that he will destroy the leaf village.
-Joined Akatsuki.
In the end all he got from Naruto was a pat on the back and some talk no jutsu and he was pardoned from all of his crimes. Now he's still performing the same illegal experiments on children UNDER the new Hokage's orders.

Pierot doesn't have a choice but to pull fillers out of their asses for a weekly series. Remember the one with Naruto and Sakura went with Jiraiya?) I mean, Hinata got a boost of screen time and popularity (even had her training under a waterfall naked and Naruto watched but act dumb founded; although they played that with him a lot). Shippuden had interested filler that was connected to the storyline at first but right after the Pain arc, we suddenly went back to Part 1 flashback episodes and even messed up certain events for the sake of lulz on Studio Pierrot's behalf.
When making this franchise as an anime, they should had went to the seasonal approach (like with animes right now such as Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia) if they catch up with the manga at the time. It will give everyone a break while Masashi continued with the series. On-going anime like these especially with adding stupid fillers that weren't excitable, executed properly or trying to promote certain characters more screen time doesn't cut it. I see the reason why Japan need to fix their job industry and ethics.

Ugh... I remember seeing so many gifs of that... I didnt watch the filler, but why would they have a naked 13-14 year old girl dancing around? From what I remember it was mostly a silhouette, but geez, shes still a child...
And then the filler when Naruto said shed make a good wife... uuuugh... Makes me cringe. The only good filler was when Rock Lee got drunk.

That is where Hinata had most of her development, the stupid filler episodes. Don't get me wrong some of the filler I didn't mind like with fillers of characters who don't get that much screen time, especially with Shino and Tenten which these two easily had the least.

Yes yes yesss. Out of all the characters, Shino was the most interesting to me. He was so strong, beating Zaku with ease. In part 1, he was definitely one of the strongest of the rookie nine. He’s so OP, and no one can convince me that the Sasuke Retrival Mission would’ve failed if he were on the team. I hate hate HATE how he was basically kicked to the curb for a much less interesting character. I’ll never get over it.

Should have brought all genin, including sakura, ino, and Hinata. Especially ino. No ideal why Kishi exclude her when Shikamaru need her to make inoshikacho formation.
Or just make sound four powerful, remove jounin interference and make it two vs one.

Shino had one of the most unique abilities out of all of Konoha 11. The ability to drain chakra would have made those fights easier against the Sound 4 and he was also good defensively.
Tenten was only classified as a weapons master but character wise, there wasn't much. She was the weakness to Team Gai but she didn't have to. I wanted her to be the specialist against swordsman like the 7 swordsman of the Hidden Mist and have her own arc.
These characters could have been so much more but I don't know if they didn't have enough room for them or what, but they missed out.
I think all teams were made according to their skills? Team 8 specialized in tracking, Team 10 was the Ino-Shika-Cho trio, Team Gai were the heavy hitters (not sure). Idk what Team 7 was supposed to be. Some type of motley crew or something.

It was a large reason why I dropped the anime a long time ago, BEFORE pairinggate (I'm calling it that just cause).
As explained earlier, they really have no choice. SP went all in with the New Era project, and whatever SJ was selling them wasn't what they had in mind. It took years to finally get it going, and SP was expecting the exact same thing from Boruto as Naruto: A weekly manga with a fairly fast moving plot. What do they get instead? They get a monthly manga whose first chapters adapt a movie that was already released. They could only extend Naruto for so long, and after the SasuNaru fight they were struggling to maintain their fanbase. I think that last bit of filler that they used to develop NaruHina was not only to do what we think, but also to give writers time to decide how they were going to approach Boruto. Waiting for the manga to get off the ground was not an option, so in the end they opted to do their own thing, but SP has already suffered from unfaithful adaptations (Tokyo Ghoul). If I remember correctly, the first episode of Boruto premiered LOWER than Naruto's final episode.
I also hear that the anime staff released teenage designs of Boruto and friends. If we're getting ready for a timeskip, this only tells me it's the beginning of the end, or at least the end of the beginning. With Boruto's manga sales continuing to decline, SP can see it's not going to last and adapting it is not in their best interest.
