So guys, here we are, the twilight of the ending, in less than 72 hours, the ending to Naruto will finally come.
I know I said I had one last post, but this is the last thing to me I wanted to say that really matters.
Regardless of the turnout, NS or NH will be canon this Thursday, but for anything else, look at it like this:
I have always argued that NH and SS fans speculated their pairings as nothing more than something to spontaneously occur, that if they did, it would just be weak, rushed, convenient, easy.
To me, I always envisioned NH and SS as nothing more than destinations, and the sole fact a movie, with NHness lets say, to be here, if NH is canon, well then my view is confirmed that NH has been nothing this whole time but a destination.
The fact it would need 110 minutes in this movie between 699 and 700 to show how NH occured (if its canon) would be the fact to me that NH was nothing important in the manga, just something so easy, so convinent, Hinata literally would be downgraded to pairing fodder for the sole purpose of this along with the fact she gets well, kidnapped along with her sister (later though) and this sounds well, to much like the idealism disney crap you all know I hate.
But the sole fact the manga occured as it did, NS at this point has always been a journey and no matter what, years worth of steady progress, even as friendship, is still much more fulfilling than a simple 110 minute movie for NH to occur.
Because its not about the destination, its always been about the journey. Nh just to occur now, well thats just a destination, if you seek so long going somewhere, you lose purpose of what made it important in the first place and well, this is my take from NH fans now, even if NH went canon, its not fulfilling, its just a spot they wanted but at what cost? What does it have to show for it? Certainly nothing in the manga this whole time for the fact the movie exists. Call it a sellout to SP, but as I said before, we got victory where it mattered, the presentation.
Because NS has been riding along this whole time, thats a 100% canon fact. Its been about the journey, regardless of how Naruto and Sakura turn out, the fact we saw Naruto make the promise, love Sakura, how Sakura grew with him, how they had highs and lows, how Naruto felt unworthy of her, how Sakura felt she caused him harm, this is stuff NH will never have, because this all happened in the past, the fact these 2 went so far for each other, its always been about the journey, and what was experienced, not the outcome. Because NS has been a wonderful journey, its always been about what happened along the way, not just that end result, and yet we still have one more part in the journey, to see Naruto tell Sakura he got Sasuke back, to see her reaction to these words is the last thing I want to see, along with Naruto confessing himself to her more or less in chapter 700 if things go our way, but again, regardless of the outcome, its always been about the journey, and the one thing I can say that we have in the end, NH will never have, is a manga full of a great journey these 2 had, because NH certainly has no journey for the fact they would need a movie to address their deal.
Because its about the journey, the experiences, and the times along the way, everything of meaning and purpose regardless of the result, NH will never have this and again, to me, this is what matters most. I believe we will get NS, there is just so much I want to see answered from the development, the promise, the Kushina foreshadow still only being on Sakura and Minato never meeting another girl besides Sakura, I want to see Naruto fulfill his promise, I am rooting for the hero to fulfill this and confess to Sakura. Because regardless of love or friendship, its always been about the journey and thats what is most important.
NS has been a wonderful journey, no matter what that outcome is, its something I will always love, and just thinking about the past, makes it that much more fulfilling than a simple movie. I hope to see NS in the end like all of you, but this is what was truely important and I hope the rest of you realize that, don't get caught up in fear of the present, the destination is not what is fulfilling, its everything it took to get here, and NH had none of that in the manga should it need a movie to just serve its own ends. Because NH and SS are just destinations and just reaching them isn't fulfilling, but NS has been the journey the whole time, and to me, this is why I say, regardless, we have won where it matters, because NS was the journey the whole time and its been a deep experience with all of you I have loved being on this journey and I will never forget it.
Regardless of the outcome, I will still love NS and everyone here. Its been wonderful guys, lets see Naruto fulfill that promise and hopefully confess. I am rooting for Naruto, the Hero, lets see the development, the promise, and the kushina foreshadow all come together, lets see NS resolution. Because its been a wonderful journey, and we are finally at the end, its been a great one at that, fulfilling no matter the result. And we don't need a movie to fulfill anything at that.
