Obviously, Minato has the other half of Kyuubi inside him. Minato's really being beaten up, here (both physically and emotionally), so I'm wondering if "dark Kyuubi" is going to be able to heal him from Obito's attacks after all.

 

I think I forgot to read 641, though, so I'm a little out of place with how we got here... gotta go read that one.

I liked this chapter more than previous ones , for once Naruto takes the spot light and acts like the hero he is and as an added bonus for me , Sasuke was useless  . 

 

Nice that senjutsu works against Obito , even more awesome if Sakura will manage to enter some form of slug sage mode . 

 

Naruto is still held back from using BM , wonder if it has anything to do with the other half of the Kyuubi chakra . Seems that side of Kurama is still evil , and whoever gets it will have a hard time with it .  Naruto has the best chance at controlling it but  I have this feeling though that Minato will give that to Sasuke , who at the moment is quite under powered and likely to have another fit of jealousy because of Naruto still being better than him .

And again Kishimoto shows that Minato and Naruto are the same. It also seems that Naruto became a sage but Minato didn't so he has more skills.

But now the thing that caught my eye is the, "dark" Kyuubi and I wonder what that means. Is it that part of the kyuubi that Madara can control or..... cause it seems that kurama has a double personality.

Really sage mode, I am glad its relevant again but that was really random. Naruto being bad ass again was cool, umm pretty funny moment with Obito and Sasuke both being surprised at Naruto's fail at the KM.

Not a bad chapter - I felt so bad for poor Minato though I'm sure Naruto will say something to cheer him up though just like he did for Kakashi when Obito was ripping him down.

 

If Minato "dies" on the battlefield, I can see Naruot getting pretty emotional over it, even though he's just an Edo - we've already seen how worried he has been thus far.

 

Great to see some smarts out of Naruto, and having Tobirama catch Naruto's drift too - and I really liked that Kishi used Gamakichi's attack for Naruto to make the connection (plus it ties back to Naruto only being able to sense the Juubi's power with Sage Mode).

 

This also probably confirms why Hashirama was sidelined too.

 

Just realized this as well - remember all that speculation that we might see Sakura obtain Slug Sage Mode?  Well if she does, it's going to be so much more impactful now.  I don't know how likely it is, but if she did, then that would guarantee her an important place in the fight against Obito alongside Naruto.

Well then...

What did we learn in this chapter? That the Jubi effectively grants practical immunity to all basic ninjutsu techniques. This Onmyoudon seems to resemble and function like an antithesis for Creation of All Things. Instead of engendering life from nothingness, you literally erase from existence all traces of something that is already existence, specifically ninjutsu technique. Tobi is truly on another level beyond even the proclaimed god of shinobi, Hashirama. 

 

More character interaction between Minato and Tobi. It's interesting how the former is coming to the conclusion that everything that has occurred to his family and student are his responsibilities. I can't exactly agree with that sentiment but Minato does hold some level of responsibility for his actions or lack thereof.

 

It seems that Kishi is improvising to find worthwhile uses for Sage Mode after all. Who could have foreseen this development that senjutsu would somehow be immune to the effects of Tobi's anti-Banbutsu Sozo? It could be related to the fact that Jubi is a natural force of coalesced energy. Senjutsu chakra is stamina and spiritual energy specially interwoven with the energy of the natural world around. Naruto is utilising the essence that gave the Jubi its existence; essentially the proverbial equivalent of fighting fire with fire.

 

There are a few details which can be inferred from this chapter.

 

1. Edo Tensei's impervious regenerative ability is susceptible to Onmyoudon. This would be the second official weakness of the technique.

 

2. Summonings can only remain outside of their respective habitats for a period of time before needing to return. What could this entail for Katsuyu? Sakura summoned her at the same time when Gamakichi and Aoda were brought forth to do battle. Has she disappeared as well?

 

3. It would appear that all summoned creatures from Mount Myoboku are capable of senjutsu and not just the frog sages, Fukasaku and Shima. That would account for the dark pigmentation around their eyes. But what could this entail for the animals from the other summoning locations? That snakes all possess Snake/Dragon Mode qualities and Katsuyu is in a constant state of senjutsu usage as well? Well if nothing else this development reinforces the notion that others are able to utilise senjutsu chakra besides just the uniquely gifted specimens like Naruto and Hashirama.

 

4. Tobi is susceptible to senjutsu attacks. As unlikely of a possibility that it may be, this does provide credence to Sakura possessing Sage Mode and wanting to enter it now. A senjutsu powered attack from either her or Katsuyu may be able to inflict some worthwhile damage if it actually successfully lands on its designated target. It could also imply that Sasuke will begin to implement the Curse Seal's natural energy gathering properties into his techniques; provided the energy Juugo allocated to him remains on his body.

 

The Yin half of Kurama's chakra has finally emerged. Admittedly, he is probably the most eerily menacing creature portrayed for some time now. Here's hoping for future interactions between him, Minato, and possibly the others as well.

Wow! Just wow... so that's why Minato can use Kurama's Chakra mode too. When I first looked at it I really thought it was a dark version of the fox instead of just a shadow but I think it might still be the case since Minato has the Yin part of the chakra which is represented by the color black. A dark kurama would be really awesome!

I get new Hinata ads with every page. Ofcourse it doesn't make it relevant; I think it's almost laughable that whoever compiled the ads thought people read the manga for Hinata.

What curse seal? If your talking about Sasuke's curse seal wasn't that removed when Itachi sealed Orochimaru?

Hiruzen thoughts

So I guess it's bye bye Hiruzen since he was hit right in the face by Jubbito's attack. It's really interesting to see that even Edo Tensei can't do much against Juubito. I wonder if Madara know about this and even so, Juubito is now the new boss.
