I can't believe I did it again. Ever since I got pulled into my first MMORPG, I've lost track of a lot of the other stuff I was doing. These are actually the second forums that I've dug back up and logged in on after several years of MMO grinding. Man, I wonder how many around here still remember me...let alone if any names I recognize are still hovering.

I'm still the same old RPG-aholic as I've always been...and, I have to admit, I learned a lot about being a better RPer from my previous stints of time on these boards. Hmm, I wonder if any of the old RPers I posted with here would recognize my writing anymore, lol. Hmm....time to go dig out the old RPG sub-board and see if any are still alive.

As for the MMORPGs I play....its three on the PC and two on the console.

In any case, I'm back...though I can't promise I won't forget to post for random lengths of time with little, if any, warning if I get sucked back into MMORPGs or off-line stuff.

That's about it for now...sure, some things outside of MMOs has happened, but I don't want to bore everyone, lol.

On PC:
Star Trek Online (7 toons, 6 max level) - got this via pre-order with a lifer subscription as a winter holiday gift
Champions Online (2 toons, decent levels) - free account (considering saving for a lifer)
DC Universe Online (2 toons, sorta low levels, not really played much) - free account

On Console:
DC Universe Online (2 toons, low levels, not really done this much) - free account
Free Realms (1 toon, low levels as free-play caps you at lvl 5 in each 'job') - free account

Not to mention all my other (ie, non-MMOs) games.

For my consoles, I've also picked up all 3 Mass Effect games (got ME3 via pre-order), also own both Dragon Age games, Epic Mickey (surprisingly adult themed for being based on a certain famous mouse), Tales Of Legendia, Tales Of The Abyss, Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, Mana Khemia 2, Final Fantasy XIII, FF XIII-2, Final Fantasy X, FF X-2, FF XII, and that's just what I remember off the top of my head. I'm also considering getting Arkham Asylum and Arkham City (played the demo for the latter and, though it only lets you play 15 mins at a time, I was hooked).

As for RPs, I've made it to page 15 of Sky Exodus. Though, truth be told, it doesn't have the same magic, in my opinion, the old Skies Of H&E did. Hmm, might even, if there are no objections, look into making my own sequal or something to that old sky pirate RPG.

I looked part way into the Keepers bios thread and IC thread, not really understanding what's going on.

I've had my share of play-by-post RPing in my absence as well. Gotten much better as a character RPer than when I was RPing on these forums back in the day....mainly, lot less OPed toons, lol. Hmm, I wonder if any of my RP ideas would translate to the members here....gotta remember to look into seeing what the rules about starting an RPG are. Just hope my current 'school of RP style' translates here well.

I've also gotten promoted in my gaming clan/fleet/guild/whatever you want to call it. I now sit at the highest I can go without actually being on the council comprised of the head of the group, his second, and the other high ranking members. As such, I'm pretty much in charge of a LARGE group of all the other lower clan members.....surprisingly lot of 'paperwork'. It's an RP clan, so we treat things as if we were part of Starfleet from Star Trek with ranks, ships, et cetera (I'm now a Captain, and CO of a ship, by the way).

Which reminds me, I was curious about something: the rules give a size for sigs, as the old one I have shows....but then why am I seeing so many sigs that go WAY past what is posted in the rules thread?

Oh, I've got a couple RP ideas floating around. My normal group of RPers I tend to hang with of late have enough of them on their plate at the moment, so it'll be nice having a new place to start the ones that aren't seeing any activity elsewhere.

well there are hardcore and softcore rpers, it all depends on when you're ready to start. just throw it out there and see if people bite, imo

i'm so sorry for your loss.

Don't get me wrong, what I've got played through so far is enjoyable. While I do prefer ME2 over ME3, on it's own ME3 is a great game. True, I've not gotten to the end yet....lol, what I get for not being dedicated to one game at a time as I've been working on others, just keep swapping out the disc.

Though, I did spend the extra $10 after I got it to get the DLC for the extra character, weapons, expanded story, and stuff. No, not just for the completion aspect (though, as I got ME2 new, I had all the DLC characters from the get go, free), but more for the full experience. Surprised the alien guy has a South African sounding accent, lol.

Even went to a midnight launch for ME3, lol. First time I did that...though, if I do it again, will have to remember to bring a book or something, lol. Still, managed to win some free stuff from the trivia contest they held while we waited.

By the time I found out it had a PS2 version as well as the Gamecube version I play at my neighbor's sometimes, the PS3 had been out so long stores were phasing out PS2 games. Not that easy to find, but I was lucky to find Legendia and Abyss (former by design, latter by random chance while looking for Dragon Age Origins).

Lol, as is my habit, I've not finished any of my FF games....too many being worked on at same time on so many seperate consoles, lol. XII was actually the first one I ever owned, then X-2, then I dug around until I found X. Waited a LONG time, long after it first vanished from store shelves, to nab XIII (Greatest Hits version) for $20 bucks. Got XIII-2 pre-order as, not just a FF fan...well, yes, as a Final Fantasy fan, lol. So far, I enjoy each game, based on its own merits.

Truth be told, I hear what the non-fans of specific FF games say, but I don't agree. I've even played FF7 on my neighbor's PSP and, while dated, I've only played fragments. Still, I'm not the sort to be such an uber fan of only one game in the franchise to say all others pale in comparison.

Though, so far, of all my FF games, XII has to be top on my list at the moment as it gets so emotionally charged. I don't want to give spoilers, but it gives villains you just want to take down because of the things they've done and how the game presents them.

As a self admited RPG-aholic, I'll do my best. I don't know if I'm the former or the latter of those two you listed, but I do tend to lurk in RPG based areas, lol.

Lol, no, that's flag officers in the clan. I'm just up to Captain. Its a bit of RPing there as we 'pretend' to actually be Starfleet out of Star Trek, complete with ships (ie, how members are divided, for cross-ship competitons and stuff), naval type ranks, chain of command, et cetera. I'm one step down from a flag rank....not sure how Fleet Captain and Commodore factor in though, lol.
