Errr I see the anime is still doing fillers. Guess I'll have to wait a few months for Naruto's training to commence?

I liked the romance thing that was going on with Aoba and the girl. The first part was great, with Naruto and Yamato fighting the giant creatures. The fight with the "ultimate creature" was pretty dull overall. However, the ending with the flower and the picture of the girl was actually pretty touching.

She's a spirit it means nothing besides has Aoba REALLY shown any affection to a spirit?

Wth was this? I mean fillers are fillers and they aren't supposed to have rhyme or reason but this was just awful. Is there a running theme with ghosts now? Also why even give Aoba a love interest when we know so little about him. I know it was only one episode but you know they were hinting that they both kinda liked each other. It's like here Aoba heres a girlfriend...oh no wait never mind you aren't important enough so yeah....shes not real shes a ghost. Seriously lol WTF!?

Oh they're trying all right They just can't think of anything good because after a few hundred episodes material starts to run dry with filler episodes though the spirit girl Honoka was cute

Hahahaha no worries a crappy Naruto filler isn't going to make me being a mom more complicated XD on the contrary ranting is an excellent way to get rid of unwanted stress so I owe the fillers thanks.

I'd enjoy it more if there was at least some more variety.

I feel like it's basically the same episode with tiny variations and different filler characters; Gai sea-sick, storm at sea, ghosts/spirits; helping someone get revenge.

Though I did actually quite like the design of the filler girl in this episode.

I'd like to see more of the rookies, and maybe what they're doing to prepare for the war if we're going to have more fillers.

They probably would. But little snippets like Kitsuchi's introduction, Ao and Kakashi meeting, Tsunade holding lectures for the 5 villages' medic-nins, would probably be directed well. We saw that with how the Raikage was preparing his village for War and him requesting a Daimyo summit to the Lightning Daimyo

(Just got caught up with the anime after not watching it for 2 years lol, I watched 105 episodes in 3 weeks yay XD)

That was a weird episode lol. But I like the part where Guy babysits those baby birds XD

oooh the flashbacks....even my dad that never gets annoyed of anything in naruto, had a moment where he almost walked away from an episode we were watching because of the flashbacks....and he LOVES naruto XD

...i think the used flashback is sakura's "bring sasuke home, naruto" flashback......they wont let that one die...( i know its important but they are killing it!!)

at least in the anime they are, in the manga they dun show it as much.

They're using flashbacks to prolong the anime so as not to catchup with the manga. But its just too much its starting to get annoying and shows the studio being lazy using old scenes over and over again. Just like how One Piece prolong scenes too much that they can show one person walking from point A to point B in 2 minutes.

believe it or not, i rather have running to point A and B than flashbacks.

I love how they run XD but when people in real life run like that they look weird :/

and if the anime catches up with the manga, they probably would make stupid fillers :/

Believe it or not a few years ago there was a boy in my school who ran like that. At that time I havent read Naruto and I was amused.

Its from the Bikaicho arc, after Naruto told her that he ruined the mission by farting. He tried to escdape her wrath by disguisning himself with Sexy no jutsu but the bug followed him and she saw it and voila concussion.
