Part of the problem is that Hinata was always a side character, and should remain as one. Also, a lot of people here are Sakura fans and they feel like Hinata is trying to take the spot of heroine from her. It seems likely to be the case too. Before this movie the hate was not nearly as high.

makes sense. but afaik sakura's role as the heroine of the manga has been accepted by the fans worldwide, and kishi made a stattement about this matter long time ago. its only a few of sakura haters tried to deny that

 

its true that hinata is the heroine of the movie. but as i said before sakura is always the heroine of the manga. and i though NS decided to ignore the movie as well as chp 699 and 700 no?

I know--the anti Hinata beef was my main problem with the NaruSaku fandom but after Kishimoto and SP gave her her own movie Sakura's man and basically mary sue-fied her I just don't give a kitten anymore.
This is like the only safe place where I can rant about how overrated she is without being challenged by Hinatards.

Hinata is a problem not for those reasons..

 

Hinata's a secondary character, however the anime team has put the other three main characters (or what the manga saw as main characters), Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi in the back burner. Stripped to its essence, the story of part 2 is about getting Sasuke to go back in the Leaf again and for him to accept his team 7 bonds. He has a 20 second appearance in the last movie, Kakashi doesn't have much else, and all Sakura does is being a NH matchmaker.

 

Hinata has nothing about her character except being Naruto's love interest and it's bad filler everytime the anime team tries to branch her outside of this because it doesn't fit with her canon portrayal. I know this may burn some of the more sensitive members here, but Naruto's love life was never much focused on the manga besides one or two moments, it isn't what his character was about either. The conflict and plot of the manga, the cycle of hatred and the darkness of the Leaf, what Naruto's character is about as well... none of it has anything to do with her.

 

The last movie of the franchise should have focused on team 7 and the problems of the ninja world post-war. It could have had NaruHina, but it shouldn't have been the focus, let alone all that the characters and the movie revolved around. However, all the other Naruto movies were bad too, so this one fits. The point is though, this isn't a proper sendoff to the series.

 

This movie is yet another example of how bad this series lost focus and direction in these past few years. Many don't like the last volume, especially not chapter 699 and 700, but they fit the focus and direction of the early sieries. It's not surprising that the last chapters have been planned a long time ago and have remained relatively on point of what the series was about and relatively Hinata-free. Notice how Hinata and NaruHina has one panel during all that. This is the amount of her importance, but the anime team doesn't understand this, and pushes fanservice for her instead. She's becoming a scrappy by anyone who isn't a Hinata or NaruHina fan.

I agree that romance is not that big for naruto(because sakura never in dangerous situation).
But when the protagonist of a shonen love a girl.
It become a big deal. If kishi truly intend to make nh, he should not make naruto love someone else in the first place. Maybe I could accept nh & ss.

the hatred towards hinata among NS after the finale plus the movie is pretty much expectable, for various reason. the thing i dont get is that NS somehow talked about her alot thus put more stress to the brain, which is unhealthy, or so i believe.
