Good. Save any more possible harm from being done. Though the damage is already large on its own.

#861135 Hating Sakura

Posted by Pink Chidori on 27 July 2015 - 10:46 AM

I still like Sakura, she's still one of my favorite characters. I just don't like how Kish*tmoto handled the story and his characters overall. I think the story had this huge potential that was wasted and with it, was the potential of the characters, Sakura being one of the more prominent. Instead of working on Sakura more in terms of development both in prowess and mental/emotional, he instead worked on her looks, made her extremely beautiful,  but continued to place her in the background and the way he treated her bothered me a lot. I hated how she just sat there and cried for Sasuke in 693 instead of doing or saying something more. Kish*tmoto really thought this was good characterization? I was so annoyed at this. I felt so bad for her then in Gaiden when he just let her be alone for twelve years, raising Sarada by herself without any contact for all we know, single mom working to keep her and her childs life together, then he leaves again in the end. Makes me sick to think about just how much he failed Sakura as a character. I can't even hate her for it, because she's not even a terrible character or person in my opinion. It's just that Kish*tmoto has proven he cannot write worth a darn.

#860480 "The Last" Hinata

@pink chidori
The problem with nh is their lack of development from naruto especially.
IMO, they can goes straight up without being close friend.
But the way they use to make naruto love Hinata is awful(genjutsu).

Oh and naruto love sakura because rivalry, that's simply bad.

I agree that romantically on Naruto's end, the development did not happen as I'd once thought. As someone who ships the Big 3, I had defended that Naruto was growing affection for Hinata romantically over time. But when 693 came out, and Naruto said he hadn't found anyone yet, that completely threw that whole thought process down the tubes for me. I did not like that Kishi made it that Naruto did not understand Hinata meant romantic love during her confession. I mean, maybe I'm just forcing my own preferences, but I always did feel like Naruto and Hinata could have been both romantic and friends because I think they would naturally get along with each other and I figured Naruto would want to hang out with someone like Hinata, who has been there for him in big ways on several occasions (Proud Failure Speech, 437 and 615). But it looked like they did not actually really hang out even after everything, and then the way it was just made that Naruto realizes everything because "genjutsu" was stupid. I felt like Naruto did not need a genjutsu, it was all so contrived.

#860474 "The Last" Hinata

I am disappointed by the developments in The Last with Hinata and Naruto.

NH

Instead of showing them to have become closer friends after the war, Hinata is instead reduced to going back to the shy girl who can't even speak to Naruto really. It was so bad, and I say this as someone who is a big fan of Hinata. It makes me annoyed to see so many NH support that tripe and act like nothing is wrong with the way things played out.

Like, don't you realize SP just shat all over the interpretation of NH that had been so long defended? And if The Last is canon, well there you go. Naruto did not even have romantic feelings for Hinata until The Last, he didn't even know that she meant romantic, just "love you like one loves food." But it's like this stuff is defended because the pairing became canon. It's ridiculous. Hinata was reduced to pairing fodder, when I always thought she had potential to be one of Naruto's truer friends.

I think both Kishi and SP missed a huge opportunity there, and simply had her worry about giving him some stupid scarf, when she should've been acting more like a friend to him, getting to know him as a person better, more than just what she'd admired from afar, but have them interact in a normal setting as well so that they could have both eventually paved the way to something more in a natural way. That would have been much more preferred. But instead, it's back to the same old thing again.

Hinata can't approach him because she's too stuck on her romantic feelings to even talk to him normally, and Naruto is hanging out with Sakura and Ino, and it's obvious neither one of them had been hanging out much. I see NH saying it was said Naruto and Hinata hung out a lot more during the time skip, but to me, that doesn't mean anything. Naruto and Hinata never hung out until The Last, so "a lot more" to me, just says "Naruto and Hinata finally hung out with each other at some point." But the events in the movie sure as heck did not reflect that at all.

#860450 If Sasuke had killed Naruto, would Sakura still be in love with him?

Posted by Pink Chidori on 26 July 2015 - 03:07 AM

I think that if Naruto were to have been killed by Sasuke, that would have been the nail in the coffin for any redemption on Sasuke's part Sakura would have hoped for. Sakura would be heartbroken her dear friend was murdered by the man she loved, and I do not think she would continue to hold onto Sasuke as someone she loves. Instead, she'd have to take in all the bad that he has done, most prominently killing someone Sakura knows had done everything he could to bring him back. I do not think she would ever forgive Sasuke for it, because I see Sakura as quite protective of Naruto in her own way. Someone she wishes to protect and help to the best of her ability. She would feel guilty and torn over the fact that she was unable to do so, and I think a resentment of her own feelings for Sasuke would become like a plague in her heart.

#518667 Will Sasuke live and have a child?

Posted by Pink Chidori on 13 March 2014 - 07:04 AM

I got from this manga that you make your own destiny and moving forward through hard times, you don't let the pain you feel run your life because that can cause more despair and destruction. Yes, the Uchiha value love over all and when they lose it, it hurts very much and they go into despair. But Sasuke, who has been through this already, would be smart enough to go after his child to stop them from making such a mistake. Who better to teach another way than someone who can relate and feels the same pain they do? This manga is also about understanding one another. Since he would know precisely how his child feels having lost his entire family in a single night to his own brother, I'm positive he would be able to talk sense into his child and teach him a better way. I think Sasuke will be redeemed by the end so when he does have a kid, things will be better for sure.

#494660 Hinata Hyūga appretiation thread

Posted by Pink Chidori on 18 September 2013 - 06:39 AM

Oh my stars, a Hinata Hyuga appreciation thread! Thank you for making this FoolishYoungling, thank you thank you!

:grouphug:

What can I say about this wonderful kunoichi? Hinata Hyuga is one of the most beautiful ninja in Konoha! I admire how she went from a shy, meek girl who couldn't even muster up the courage to stand up for herself, to being courageous, and self-sacrificing, making speeches and helping encourage Naruto when he was down, I am just so proud.

Hinata inspires me to push myself the way she did. Hard working, even though her father never noticed, trying her best to rise above from what people labeled her as (as loser), and even though she didn't always win, she was inspired by that little knucklehead, seeing how he got up and didn't run and it helped her to keep on going and becoming a truly strong, beautiful kunoichi. I just find it even more inspiring that she uses his nindo because honestly, Naruto's nindo is a very hard one to follow.

I never go back on my word? Sometimes life just throws a heck of a lot at you, and it can be hard to stick with that kind of way of life, but she's done it and I bet she'll just keep on pushing strong because she's just that awesome. I also love how even though she has a rocking body, she's more subtle about it. Though I can't say I don't love Ino's attire ;)

I just cannot wait to please please kishi! see her technique of 8 trigrams 64 palms mixed with twin lions fists!  :eager:

My Hinata is hopefully  going to be kicking some ass soon! Oh please Kishi! And I wouldn't say no to a Saku/Hina teamup either!

And now, for some fanart of this dazzling Hyuga!

Ino pig. Pig sage. I see what you did there. :chuckle:

Ino would be the perfect Hokage. The pig being her summon would be gold. Move over Naruto, Ino for Hokage!  :hehehe:

#485323 If NaruSaku comes, the fate of Hinata?

Posted by Pink Chidori on 06 August 2013 - 02:25 AM

First one; can't say, second; Probably yes. Honestly, with how little attention the Hyuga are given [Thanks a lot Kishi, we don't need Hyugas. just more Uchiha emoness  ] It's hard to say. Hinata did seem sad at her father being disappointed in her in her flashback, and she has said she wants to get stronger, but sadly I can't say. Kishi just doesn't pay too much attention to other clans, because he just assumes everyone loves the Uchiha D, when in fact some people, like myself, prefer side characters like Hinata & Lee. The man needs to realize that he has fans who AREN'T Uchiha Fapboys :smashy:, and prefer other characters like Sakura, neji or Kiba. He's neglected everyone for the Uchiha/Senju/Uzumaki. It's kinda sad, especially for someone like me, since most of my favs are side characters.  :arg:

This so kittening much. I could just pull Kishi's hair out for all the potential he's wasted with his characters. I couldn't be more disappointed with how he tossed aside his amazing rookies in exchange for more Uchiha/Senju backstory. We've gotten more on Uchiha than we have gotten on even Uzumaki I think! Might as well change this manga to Uchiha Chronicles: The Manga.
