To be honest...I'm a little uneasy asking this on this site, but I don't really know where else to go for asking this question...
To the point now - So...I'm just going to start off by saying this: I'm not
really the type of person who looks for romantic relationships. I've had three
girlfriends in the past and I dumped all of them because I could tell it just
wasn't going to work out when all was said and done. The last time I had a
girlfriend was four or five years ago.
A few weeks ago I met this woman who had just moved into my area. At the
time, she said she came to Oklahoma looking for work. Now she's saying she came
because of family issues that are too personal for her to talk about. Well, for
a while we kept running into each other at public places. The one time I've ever
gone to a bar (I was the designated driver) two weeks ago or so, I ran into her
for the umpteenth millionth time. She was alone looking kind of depressed, and
my *ahem* friends... were starting to get a little rowdy and I could tell there
was going to be a fight at some point, and quite frankly...I didn't feel
comfortable getting caught in a fist fight with bunch of 200+ pound oil field
workers. That's what security guards are for!
Cutting the long story short, me and this woman talked for a good four and a
half hours at least and left the bar that night as pretty good friends. As you'd
expect we became fairly close friends as the days went on. Then it just kind
of...happened. She considered us a couple, even though we hadn't gone on any
dates or anything...I guess she just felt that comfortable around me?
Well...the other night I did something I hadn't done up 'till that point in
my life. She and I share some fairly common interests. She's into archery, I'm
into archery, we like the same movies, same books, and share the same political
interests. The day she came over we had spent a fairly long day shooting bows
and arrows. We came into the house to get some refreshments and a bite to eat.
Suddenly, she started acting...weird. She started lifting her shirt above her
bellybutton and talking in a very soft and soothing voice and dragging her
fingers through my hair and rubbing my chest. Hovering her lips above mine. I
won't lie. Even though I found this a bit...odd, I was still enjoying it. She's
a very attractive woman at the end of the day and burnets (don't think I spelled
that right) are what I'm attracted to the most.
Thinking she was just trying to be flirty, I tried returning the favor by
rubbing my hands up and down her sides. But when I did, she started giggling. At
first I didn't know what was going on. I thought she was just enjoying herself.
Nope. Turns out she's practically the most ticklish person in the world.
Remember when I said I did something that I had never done before? That's
right. I've never tickled someone before. My curiosity got the better of me and
I asked if I could tickle her stomach a bit. She just nodded and found a
comfortable place to lie down and held her hands above her head while I
proceeded. I started off just poking her, but a lot changed as time went on.
At one point there was a time I made her go hysterical. I had her laughing so
hard she actually kicked me in the jaw. This went on for a good ten seconds
before she screamed for me to stop. But this is where I started to get a little
worried and confused. The way she screamed "stop" sounded very...angry to me.
But when I backed off and let her catch her breath she was smiling at me like
she had just had the best time of her life.
Now...like I said...I had never tickled someone in my life before that
incident, so I don't really have a lot of...erm...."experience" with this sort
of stuff. I asked her if she was okay or if she was angry about anything. She
just smiled and said no.
Has anyone ever had a relationship like this? Everyone I know views tickling
as a form of torture, but my apparently now girlfriend seems to quite like it.
Is this...normal or have I officially found the strangest woman in the
world?
I would search for answers on the web, but I can just foresee getting some
kind of virus typing this kind of stuff into the search bar.
Strangest thread ever for the win.
