Like How "Boruto's dad" is a scumbag that killed Naruto and took his role to be with Hinata's titties? :zaru:

Don't worry maybe they will kill "Boruto's dad" one day and well knowing Hinata she would kill herself because she can't live without Naruto.

Why hasn't she already then? That thing in the Hokage's robes isn't Naruto.

...Oh right, she's in love with the idea of Naruto.

Does it ever explain why she loves Naruto that makes sense and wasn't just shoved in to make the pairing work?

Exactly.

Not really, Jak. Just that she loves the IDEA of Naruto, as Rules said, and she doesn't know a damn thing about the real him. Hell, even when they began dating after the Genjutsu in "The Last", she didn't even know he liked ramen when she suggested they go to Ichiraku when she saw he didn't have much money in his wallet for a fancier place. HELLO!!! AM i THE ONLY ONE WHO FINDS THIS DUMB!? Seriously, she doesn't still know anything about him. And honestly, as she is written, Hinata doesn't care, as long as she selfishly gets what she wants, to hell with everyone and everything else.

weird. I mean she stalked him all the time in part 1 hiding behind things and all(which wasn't creepy at all, right?). How come she doesn't know his favorite food?

Even more important than not even knowing Naruto's favourite food, have these two so-called love birds ever connected? Has Naruto ever told Hinata about his life struggle of being HATED by the entire village because he is carrying around the creature that almost destroyed the entire village inside of himself? NOPE, she learned that through the hearsay of others. Did Hinata ever tell Naruto that she feels like a failure because of how rough her father treats her and the pressures of being the Hyuga's (former) heiress? NOPE. Does Naruto regularly talk to Hinata and go out of his way to interact with her on a daily basis? NOPE. When Sasuke was in the village in Part I does he open up to Sakura and talk to her even when she is NOT fan girl-ing him? NOPE. You see, It's funny how emotionally open Naruto is around Sakura and vice versa, but neither are around their spouses, where one is a yes-woman to her husband and the other gives no $#^&s about his wife(?), and with that in mind we are SUPPOSED to believe these couples are matches made in heaven?

I have to admit, reading this makes me feel bad for both him and Oda, especially the latter one. His comparison of Jump to a stream/rapids/a river of acid caused me to gain a new perspective on him and his struggles as the creator of a popular manga. I'm still mad over him giving us that horrific ending, but there's a sense of sympathy for him in my heart.

Haven't checked this topic for a few months.

“I’ve been wanting to catch-up to One Piece so I wanted to have the spirit to defeat it,” he admitted. “I thought that Naruto would get all the way up to there. If it wasn’t for One Piece, I absolutely wouldn’t have come this far. Of course…I understand both Oda-san’s joy and pain. I understand what it takes to be first place in Jump. So when the serialization of Naruto ended, I saw Oda-san still walking alone again…That was pretty heartbreaking. I know that it’s quite difficult. Everyone was casually collecting their thoughts, saying ‘Enjoy the end of your serialization.’ When I think about the weather being nice when I look outside in the morning, I suddenly even get to take a walk with my children. But when Oda-san hears something like that, he falls into a gloomy slump. But he’ll say ‘Please tell me more!’ and ‘I’ll keep on running so I can enjoy things when the time comes.’ When I heard him say that, of course, I thought that was amazing, thinking of how we’d walk together like this. When Oda-san finishes serialization, I think it would be great if we can enjoy life and things like this together. Well, as for my dream, it’s for One Piece to keep going in Jump.”

“I think for the people of this era, Jump is something of a reflection fo of this generation,” Kishimoto said. “In that respect, it keeps on going, just like a stream. But things like scattered works are pulled in, and those are gathered and produce a huge stream. I’m personally happy to have been able to bein (be in?) that stream. Well, I suppose you could call that stream more like rapids, or something like a river of acid [laughs].”

“I’ve already forgotten about the hell fo (how does an interview have spelling mistakes) of deadlines for weekly serializations,” he joked. “Maybe I have a muddled head. Just having such amazing memories, and to be able to send such things out into the world, I want to do it again once more and surpass what’s been done, from curiosity’s standpoint.”

Honestly, it is nice he cares about Oda so much. By this point all the manga other then one piece in shounen jump are what less then 5 years old or so. Some of his new coworkers even grew up reading one piece. His colleges of over ten years have all moved on, and are able to spend time with their families.

As sad as it is, i think kishimoto just gave up. He probably got tired of the endless deadlines and the constant pressure so he gave up on naruto and left it in the hands of people who clearly had no idea what to do with it. I'm glad that he can now spend time with his family and i find it sweet that he worries about oda.

It makes me wonder though, he always refers to himself as naruto whenever trying to explain his personal life and years ago, oda did say his wife is like sakura. I shouldn't make assumptions about someone i barely know but maybe narusaku did become canon in some way? I remember hearing that his wife also got mad at him for not making narusaku happen, that mustve been quite an arguement.

Edit: Found the interview where hinata gets butchered. :laughcry:

Did you expect such a divided reaction (in the U.S. at least) when you revealed whom Naruto marries in the future?

I actually didn't realize I caused such controversy.

Really? You had no idea?

Mari Morimoto:
So the fans wanted Naruto to get together with Sakura?

Well, there's definitely camps of fans who felt that way, and there were also those that were very happy he ended up with Hinata. But there were quite passionate opinions on both sides!

I almost caused a rift in my own household too, because my wife was very upset also that Naruto didn't get together with Sakura. In fact, she complained quite vehemently to me!

Jo Otsuki:
Quite few of the female staff at Studio Pierrot that produces the anime, apparently were also upset.

Whoah. So how did you handle that, especially with your wife?

I tried to defuse the situation by assuring my wife that SHE was actually the model for Hinata. (laughs)

As you were saying that, I thought, I wonder if your family life was more like Hinata and Naruto's family or Sasuke and Sakura's? (everyone laughs)

Masashi Kishiimoto: Well… it might not actually be like either. My wife is quite strong as well, she's a strong character.

Oh, so kind of like Sakura!

So I think my wife might secretly realize that Hinata wasn't really the model for her… (laughs)

Now i can't stop imagining sakura getting mad at naruto over a stupid work decision.

I always thought it was a bit, or rather, way too much, that he tributed Oda on the last, 2 pager panel of his entire manga in such an obvious way. The ending was so horrible that it's hard to even pay attention to something like that, though.

Did that interview really include the parenthetical (in the U.S. at least) originally? Because I don't remember that and it's really pathetic if that's the case. The U.S. was basically the only place where they wanted him to be with Hinata at all.
