I bet all Disney Princesses if they met Hinata, make fun of her.


Snow White and Cinderella probably wouldn't care but I know Elsa and Anna would tell her some sh-t.

I imagine Belle would be disappointed, considering we saw how mature and independent she was, not wanting to be bogged down by social standings due to her love of reading and wishing for something more in her life. :)

I dunno, Belle is a stockholm syndrome case but I do like her. xD  She's still more intelligent than Hinata.

I don't want to debate but she does not have stockholm syndrome because she left the beast after he frightened her then after he saved her from the wolves and got knocked down unconsnious. Belle could have left him there to die but she chose to bring him back home and took care of him.

That may be all good and well but falling in love with your captor is stockholm syndrome.

I doubt Gaston killing the Beast is what made Belle fall in love with him.  It must've been all that time she spent with the Beast in the castle.  Also she wouldn't have met him if he hadn't traded her father for ransom and kidnapped her in the first place. 

 

 

So... Has anyone scene this poll yet? Both sasusaku and naruhina are in the top ten.

Maybe he also has it due to being afraid to die like many humans are, since Orochimaru pointed that out in the Forest of Death when he came after Team Kakashi to give Sasuke the Curse Mark, when he noticed Sasuke being willing to give him the Heaven Scroll, in spite of the fact that Naruto had figured Orochimaru would still likely kill them if he wanted.

School Days. Horrible series. Should have never been animated in the first place and just stick with its damn visual novel.

I know Elsa and Mulun would have said something to her along with Belle, and Sophia probably would say something to Hinata. Man that's got me a fiction bubbling in my head. Aeril would also say something because her whole story is about being who you are and not who fits him best. She did not need a man to be her to her goals.

Actually Ariel abandoned her father and home just to marry a man she just met but I still think she's a better heroine than Hinata. I don't really like the passiveness of the old princesses.. A better example would be Mulan like you said or Esmeralda from Hunchback of Notre Dame. XD

i see this a lot and since i recently rewatched this movie i have to cut ariel some slack. at least they spent 3 days together + the time it took to prepare the wedding. she was mute and using the fork as a freaking comb and he still didn't kick her out for being weird. and finally, eric risked his life to save her...like he was willing to end up dead if it meant she was okay. so their relationship is pretty solid in comparison to most even if they did meet at the beginning of the movie and get married at the end.

 

i don't think those princesses were passive just because their stories heavily involved romance. ARIEL is the one who initiated things but going to ursula. before eric jumped into the fight, she tried to take on the sea witch herself. Hell eric was in just as much distress as she since he got mind controlled at one point (and who rushed to save him? who swam across the occean as a human to save him? not his butler!)

 

and assuming you're talking about belle too, that woman was the FIRST one to stand up to the beast. she rejected gaston numerous times (politely tho) and even when things got scary she still didn't put up with any bs.

 

i think it's safe to say that romance + femininity does NOT equal passive. belle wanted adventure and it just so happened that adventure came from a sweet prince. ariel wanted to be a part of human culture and she just so happened to meet the love of her life.

 

sorry to butt in but i usually want to say something when people deride the princesses for antifeminist (i kno you didn't SAY that but that's what i got from your 'they're too passive' comment. if i'm wrong just say so). 

 

about naruto:

 

how ironic that this spin off is starting off so slow when naruto ended in such a rush. the lack of hinata so far means i like this more than i otherwise would've tho. fingers crossed team 7 reunites and its about them (even if they are fighting uchiha again).
