What's really messed up, is that you can complain about every single character in this series. Everyone.

 

Whether it's for botched development, too little development, horrible handling, or whatever. You could find something to complain about for every character.

 

Kishi really sucks at writing.

Kishi's greatest strength was always the likability and reliability of the characters. Which allowed most fans to ignore or tolerate the problems of the series. With that gone because the ending destroyed the characters the we had grown to love. The problems with the series become very apparent and since we have an negative view of the series became much more negative perception then the series is used to.

Lemme see; Sakura learning about Naruto being a Jinchuriki, her hugging him after he came back from confronting Nagato, the CPR scene of course, her smile when Sasuke told her Naruto saved her from Gaara, and to close it out, her reaction when Naruto got his headband back from Zabuza.

Especially for Naruto.

I loved particularly him for a reason: his love for Sakura.

Because this love separated him from others (silly) shonen manga protagonists that remembered the existence of girls only in their series' end, when you just saw they married for no good reason.

 

I liked his love because he loved a normal (in social standing), blunt and brave girl, warts and all, and he didn't go for the 'convenient' (boobed, quiet, submissive, hopelessly in love with and - let us not forget - filthy rich) girl.

I like NaruSaku better because Sakura is actually a part of Naruto's life while Hinata is just a stand-in.

Oh your from Poland...You know I haven't asked a polish fans this but what your countries fanbase opinion of the Naruto ending?

I'm not involved in the Polish Naruto fandom anymore, to be honest. I only visit one Polish general manga & anime forum for older fans, where the majority is over 20 years old and isn't crazy about Naruto. The members of this forum didn't seem too bitter when they talked about Nardo ending, but there was also some people who actually said they hated it, but without going into details. So I can't say what exactly they didn't like about it. But there was no one that praised the ending, that's for sure.

 

BTW when I was leaving the general Polish Naruto fandom years ago, people seemed to not take the series seriously anymore because it became so lame for them, they just kept on reading because of the nostalgia. But I was never in the Polish shipping fandom, only the general Naruto fandom.
