So, the last was cancelled in a country (which country?), and bets are going on to determine how many volumes number 72 will sell. Is that all?

So as some (or most) of you may know Ria and I are working on our own version of what The Last should've been. At the moment we've put it on Hiatus due to school and college from my end at least until the spring.  Which is pretty obvious, and I mentioned a while back that we might be doing a RTN doujinshi centered around Menma in the summer. Well before that comes into play, I've decided to work on my artwork and draw an Obito doujinshi as a little testing ground, and plus Ria will be the one writing it.  

 

For those wondering if it's going to be a retelling of Naruto through Obito's perspective, No it's not. Consider it as like an alternate universe of the ninja world where Obito didn't crush by the boulders and escaped with his teammates from Kanabi Bridge. There will be alot of alterations going around like No Akatsuki, No Konoha 11 (obviously which means no Hinata), and No Sharingan for Kakashi (unfortunately for all the Kakashi fans out there). Ria and I will be working on the storyboard probably around June so around mid or late July we'll get things rolling.

 

 

Though to get to you guys ready, I'll be working on the cover and it'll be out say either next week or week after next.

A sad NH fan just expressed sadness that The Last premier is canceled in his/hers country! :D Tho I have no idea what country that is! Do you guys know something about this?

Also for someone who claims to be bad at writing romance, Kishi sure did a pretty good job with NS, MK, JiraTsu, ShikaTema and ObiRin. 

 

Kishi may have claimed that this was all planned from the beginning, but the ending just doesn't show that...at all.

I'm very intrested, why people always concerned about Sasuke's turn and Hinata's heroine status. Many said about Sakura's assassination. But very few spoke about how Naruto ended, yeah he is hokage (in epilogue, 10 years after his story ended, stupid story didn't even ended with main goal), but about his resolve in the end, I didn't saw anyone who complain about it. But that must be center of story, not some "cool" guy who become MC after his ass was handed to him. And I talk about 699, not 700 that is promo for last and part 3.

Sasuke's character at least got some resolve, he dropped his vengeance.

Naruto's character lack any of it:

- His dream is nowhere, Kakashi took it because of reasons (there is nothing stated on why exactly Naruto didn't become one, or why Tsunade retired).

- His answer to curse of hatred. NONE AT ALL.

- His love intrest. We all know what should happend at any cost.

And Kishimoto thinks that picturing NH and SS as couples in 10 years, could resolve anything, but it's not. Story was about whole other things AND other pairirng.

Bad writing as it is.
