speaking of SP i always thought that they hated naruhina when i was watching shippuden because they would do stuff like this

but look at them now with the movie promoting, i'm starting to wonder if it's actually kishi's doing or sp

At this point, I really don't think it's NS vs NH or worry what's endgame in this thread. At the moment, I think it's mostly rage and hate that Hinata and her stalker crush is going to be in the spotlight in the movie. Taking the spotlight over the main character's love which has been constant through the whole series so far. And overall, can you blame us?

Could of sworn he said he wanted to end Naruto conclusively. If  you are right about a new project regarding Naruto, oh boy. 

 

So this is my problem too. Kishimoto said that apparently, but all this movie hype leads me to think differently. I'll repost what I put in the chapter thread:

 

After watching the movie trailer and reading some of the buzz about it, I have a feeling next week's chapter isn't going to end as conclusively in the shipping department as we would like. 

 

It wouldn't make any sense at all to wrap every detail up in the manga — Naruto is with Sakura and Hinata is out in the cold — only for them to continue with movies going in another direction.

 

I just don't think we're going to get pictures of Naruto and Sakura with babies, things like that. I think it's going to be more loose and open-ended, so the possibility of Naruto/Hinata is still out there. After all, the Hinata fans make up a huge portion of the fan base. And the shipping suspense is the only tension left. If Kishimoto wraps up the shipping tension decisively in the manga, then it'll be really hard to raise interest for a movie.

 

Don't get me wrong — I think there will be a big, satisfying NS moment in the last chapter of Shippuden. However, I think with all the hype for the movie and "New Era Project" going on in conjunction with the last chapter, Kishimoto's not going to end things absolutely conclusively pairing-wise. Kishimoto is, above everything else, a master at multiple interpretations.

 

Rampant speculation: It may be that Naruto and Sakura fianlly make a plan to go on a date, but that it will have to be some time much later, when everyone has returned home and all the detail work is done. And it may be that Hinata comes to some decision about herself and her clan, deciding that she will lead them the way Naruto would, all the while still thinking that some day, when all the work is done, she will walk beside Naruto.

 

So NS still is the top pairing, but there is still room for the future of NH.... Which is then explored and exploited in movies or whatever the New Era Project turns out to be.

Why are people making a big fuss over this movie?  Sakura is the one that never loves Naruto and he deserve to be happy too. If Hinata is the woman that make Naruto happy then he can date her or marry her. If Sakura want Naruto to be her man, she has so many opportunities, but she refused to accept him and chase after Sasuke all this year. I love NS, but the outcome is too obvious.

What? Who said Hinata can make him happy? If she can he would have been pursuing her, at least shown some kind of reciprocation or special consideration of her after she confessed. In fact, Naruto said that being with Sakura makes him happy.

I don't think Naruto could ever be happy with someone like Hinata.

If it help just keep reminding yourself that SP is unreliable source of info about anything pairing related anyone looking forward to RTN or Mcha Naruto episode can tell you that

we don't know Hinata has a bigger role than Sakura, Sakura has been shown with casual clothes like Naruto so we'll most likely be seeing them more anyway

you guys said the same thing about road to ninja with its advertising and looked what happened, ns happened   so excuse me if I'm not worried, I will never be worried, SP can do all the crazy stuff promoting all they want, I'm used to it and am not worried, nor will I ever be.

you know the only thing that annoys me the most about this movie is that they're suddenly making the side character the main heroine, i mean it's supposed to be about the hyuga clan and everything but now it seems like "hinata's love story the movie" i mean even that scarf showed more than sakura in all of this

maybe the reason why hinata is being the center of the attention now because she will be the new heroine in the new era project

Worst movie if NH is canon. A side character get the guys she loves and the Hero doesn't end with the one he loves.

 

Side character is more important than main/hero of manga 

 

 

If Minato is there , he will absolutely encourage Naruto to never give up on his feelings to Sakura , like he did to Obito (for Rin) 

 

 

 

There is two pictures of Naruto and Hinata talking on a mountain. They are obviously alone talking. 

 

But why even put in that flashback, what is even the point? Obviously the movie has a lot of NH ties. 

 

lol I can tell you from now the flashback comes from Hinata's side (like in EP 166 fillers) as Naruto is never interesting or thinking about her in all 700 chapters

I don't even know why people are bothering this, the advertisements isn't the source of discouragement, the composer was more discouraging with his "hints" that he gave ya'll a while back.

Like tricksie, I'm concerned that the ending won't be satisfying storywise. There are still to many loose ends. I feel like both of these last chapters will have to be the length of a volume on their own to even come close to touching on the loose ends. I had hope for the movie to manage a good end, but so far what I'm hearing doesn't sound very compelling.

You know what I understand SP perfectly. They hardly actually care for Hinata, they saw all the money in her and that is essentially why she is promoted in the way she is. Its all about money. 

 

They simply just want to make money in the end. Naruhina and Hinata are the money makers, they are just much more popular then Sakura and Narusaku.

I think that would be the strangest part. Kishimoto has never changed feelings off screen. To have Naruto hold on to Sakura this long without deviation at all and then suddenly shift after the manga's conclusion seems very unlike him.

I feel the same way. What I wanna know is what possibly could have compelled Kishi into making a movie centered around Hinata? For 700 chapters, he's completely neglected and ignored her. In fact, she's MIA even as the story is 2 chapters away from its finale. So why the sudden interest now? 

 

Precisely because he completely neglected and ignored her, and because she's MIA at the end of the actual story.  It's shaping up to be a lame consolation.

A movie about Orochimaru would have topped anything.

 

Yeah, Atheck said that too.  I agree.  I really wanted to see Orochimaru be the final villain.  Oh well.

You guys should be worried a little bit at least. You cant simply blow this all off as nothing but marketing. Everything that has been revealed about the movie has been HINATA HINATA. She obviously has a giant role in the movie while Sakura's role is  nonexistent right now. 

 

NH is going to have a lot of moment no matter what and that is simply a bad sign. 

dude, listen, they made hinata out to have a big role in road to ninja too, same with sasuke, and look what happened...even if she has parts of the plot about her in this one it doesn't freaking matter, SP are hinata fans, of course they'd want to make it out like hinata is such a big part of the manga with her naruto-kuning, it still doesn't mean anything if we only know tidbits and not the full picture, so quit overreacting, take the promoting with a grain of salt and wait for the manga to end and for the movie to actually release before ating like this, for goodness sake...
