To Beastbomb - No, because her flaws are gapingly open. She's gotten enough exposure to show just how detrimental she is to those around her. She is far more like Sasuke than she'd like to admit. And she does little to address her personal faults. Her skills? Yeah, even though it takes her over a hundred chapters to realise that she's using Naruto and Sasuke as a crutch and has no real definite or passable skill set outside of her book knowledge. At least Tenten is skilled in combat, and same with Hinata. At least Hinata is there as emotional support and to spur Naruto on, which Sakura almost never does because she shows a fundamental failure to understand either of her teammates on any level deeper than the surface and the superficial. Sakura is entirely reliant on chakra for anything to do with ninja skills. And I don't mean that in a general sense. Without her chakra, her strength is absent and her taijutsu technique is useless. If you say that for Hinata, you'd be wrong. The actual stances and techniques for the Gentle Fist are as applicable without chakra as with it as can be seen from the actual martial art it is based upon, Baghua Zhang. Even the characters who are supposed to be minor supporting characters show more emotional ties and commitments to their comrades and allies than Sakura does. They've never once given thought to following a traitor outside the village because it's what they might want.
Don't forget, your talking about a world where if you leave your village and have become a part of the main ninja system, they either put out a bounty on you or send Hunter Nins to take you out...because even the slightest thing you take for granted might be something that an enemy village can use against your former village, and if you have techniques there's the risk they could use them against your former village too. If Tsunade hadn't caved to holding off when it came to Sasuke, he would've been hunted by every bounty hunter or ninja in the elemental nations and would've been dead by now.
As for slap comedy...slap comedy is just a cry for help when you realise you have no idea on how to properly develop a character outside set constraints.
I dont like her character overall but srsly she's above Hinata and Tenten, she understand Naruto better than Hinata which is proven on 631 and an huge ammount of chapters before and most importantly if we are going to talk about originality why you put Hinata on a pedestal saying that her skilled in combat when it's basically weaker than Neji and funny how you say "Without her chakra her strength is absent".
Funny because even Naruto without any chakra can do nothing.
gentle firsts are not applicable without chakra on Naruto's world nothing is applicable without chakra.
They need chakra to do basically everything, to activate byakugan and etc...
