Just finished reading the Kabuto vs uchiha brothers. I think there is a lot of foreshadowing for Sasuke's future in these chapters when it will come to Sasuke vs Naruto.

 

I strongly believe that Sasuke will somehow use the izinagi and izinami. He will use it when he is getting beaten down by Naruto to try manipulate the outcome to his favour. But eventually as itachi said, he will accept the origional outcome and accept defeat.

 

Side theory: Maybe Sasuke will use this on Sakura, because he knows she has a strong resistance to Genjutsu but these ocular powers aren't genjutsu's so he could bait her into the izinagi or whichever one it is and the scenario could possible be her feelings for him.

 

She continuasly tell him she loves him until she realized she's already said it/ or she realizes she doesnt love him at all and loves Naruto now breaking the cycle/freeing her from it..

 

Bit whacky but i think could be plausible due to sasuke never wanting to accept defeat easily just like Danzo

I don't think so. Do you think she would do the same thing with Rock Lee if he was in a similar situation? The reason she's able to confess to Naruto is because she has feelings for him that are more than mere friendship.

 

Anything other than that would've made it look like Sakura's confession was just a means to an end. That's a wrong approach since A) As discussed there were plenty of other ways to try and convince Naruto to go back to Konoha without expressing fake feelings for him, and B) Kishimoto himself was bothered that someone implied Sakura was just using Naruto's feelings for her.

 

That should tell you that the reason Sakura used a confession as a means to convince Naruto is because she wanted to, not because she had to.

people are always talking about how eastern societies uphold that submissive women are the preference, but  then why in the world is the rough aggressive love interest so popular in anime and manga?

 

These are just some dubbs that I started watching as a child. I'm sure more advid manga reader and anime watchers could add to it.

 

Dragonball and Dragonball Z: Chi-chi and Bulma are both love interest to main characters,  and are both more aggressive than submissive. Videl too

Rurouni Kenshin : Kaoru and Megumi. While Megumi's affections were not returned, both she and Kaoru can be tough and even physical with the male leads.

Inuyasha: Kagome and Sango both share that same Tsundere trait. Both are love interest as well.

and we already know Naruto : Shikamaru's mom, Sakura, (though she has not made her way to the actual series Kishi did write her character in the movie, so im including Sakura's mother) Kushina and Tsunade all lean more towards being aggressive over submissive and quiet. All to different degrees. 

 

LOL. Maybe it's just the animes they chose to dub, but from what I see, Hinata is pretty much the only prominent to semi prominent female character that is not prone to smacking around men or giving them an ear full for being ridiculous.

Hmm. Interesting analysis you've done. I think the main reason for this is that the heroes of these anime are typically dumb goofballs who act recklessly and fight for their dreams or to protect their friends. If left alone characters like these can get into quite a bit of trouble, so the author creates a female love interest that keeps the hero in check. The love interest is given a tsundere personality that effectively check mates the hero. This type of partnership ensures the hero's safety, good behavior, and happiness, it also creates an added sub plot of romance (even though these are typically REALLY obvious but never fully realized until the end).

 

I think I might be 100% wrong in everything I just said, but those are just my first reactions. I'm curious to see what everyone else thinks of your analysis lady_duckish.

Ahhh good point overlooked that.... Maybe not for Sakura but an eye aginst Naruto would be worth it in his POV

I feel that if he uses that is to thick Naruto, you're probably mistaking Izanagi with izanami, Izanagi prevents death changing reality (death), izanami is a genjutsu that is cast, Naruto is immune to it, because Itachi explained that he could put Kabuto on a genjutsu because he was capable of doing that with only his sense, which explains why he was capable of putting people on a genjutsu without the need ot look on his eyes.

Well the one that puts the victim into an endless cycle is the one i was refering to, not sure which one it is. I'm sure Sasuke will give up an eye to effectivley perma CC Naruto until, Naruto breaks the cycle (Get the reference )

They also said that since all of those ended bad NS will also end up badly if you pair them together (what?). Lastly, they said that NH and MK had best parallels (what?) between each other and that MK started the same way as NH (what?) but they still "doubt it will happen."

What do you think of this argument? I think that it fails to consider the statement from the manga that the new generation is supposed to surpass the old generation, and that although other relationships paralleled to NaruSaku may have ended badly, NaruSaku will not necessarily end badly. Also, I think it makes an invalid assumption that because other similar relationships have failed the current relationship is bound to fail. I also think that saying NH and MK had the best parallels and they started the same way is a faulty statement. To say this, when NS and MK obviously started the same (with the girls not liking the boys) AND when the parallel between Sakura an Kushina has been confirmed by MINATO himself, I think is kind of crazy :/

I think that argument makes no sense and given how many times I've tried to explain things to people who have similar arguments I think it's safe to say that it would work out best for everyone to simply ignore this person and wait for NaruSaku to be cannon. THEN they will start listening to our explanations. For now they're just in denial, and they like being in denial, so they aren't going to stop being in denial. It is possible to break them out of denial but only if you have extraordinary patience and the will to never give up.
