The Juubi who is the God of all creation stands in front of them. What should Hinata do?! Blush for Naruto-kun of course. 111189.gif

Even you have to admit it feels a little silly.

I see, so Hinata is plain. Ironic, isn't it? laugh.gif

EDIT

I get that. I'm saying that Hinata has gotten closer to Naruto just like the rest have. She doesn't have some special closeness that separates her from the other rookies.

I really don't see how it's more than getting acknowledgment. Hinata is not "special" to Naruto. But I suppose each has their own view their relationship, so like you said we should leave it.

You said that there was a time when you also believed that the ellipsis meant something regarding Hinata. So it could've easily been Kishi's intention for the fans to have that reaction.

It's OK if you don't want to believe that it could be Hinata accepting them. But at the very least don't you think that her ellipsis is worth taking note of, no matter what happens, instead of saying that it was meaningless? Whether it's good or bad I just don't think it's worthless. I think Kishi did it on purpose for a reason.

LOL We agree on that. I'm just saying they've definitely gotten closer, and they have a pretty legitimate bond for sure.

As for the bolded, yes, I did once believe that it meant the end of NH. She witnessed Sakura hugging the man she loved, and she seemed to be quite okay with it, and instead of pushing that to the side, he throws bricks with Hinata's face on it at us. sweatdrop.gif LMAO.

I'm not sure what it means at this point thanks to Kishi. It could very well mean just that. LOL I think at the time, he did it with reason, but who knows if he's piecing it all together at this point.

I don't really think that the panel with Hinata and the "..." speech bubble mean that much. As KnS said, 573 and 615 pretty much neutralize any possibility of Hinata accepting NS/giving up on Naruto. She hasn't even mentioned Naruto's love for Sakura ever. If anything, this set of panels show us she will give up. And even then, there is no mention of Naruto's/Sakura's feelings.

Is funny that you think that way knowing that Kiba comment was way out of place so if his the author could find time to do that I don't see anything wrong with having an awkward reaction from Hinata after kiba's comment or tell him this is no time for joke, Kishimoto inserted that moment for a pairing tease while giving the readers the Idea that Kiba might of notice something from Naruto earlier behavior to make such a sudden claim, the problem was that it was ignored by Naruto and Hinata, so why Kishimoto added Kiba's comment is something we need to wait and find out or it was just a silly bone thrown at the fandom that would be ignored.

Again If Hinata could think about holding his hand before her arrival and later said that his hand felt so manly minutes after her cousin die, why on heart would you find that funny?

Anyway I fell like I'm stepping away from your main question so lets agree to disagree.

To be fair, why would she? The best way to address the audience that she has passed the torch or anything to indicate that she's ok with NS is as if she tells Sakura herself to take care of him. It happens in other manga, notably in Fairy Tail without making a love battle, so why not this one. Plus, as I said before, even if one person knows that his/her love interest loves another and/or knows he/she have no shot, that doesn't stop you to get something out of it. She's not asking Naruto in return, just on a good term. It also happens with other mangas. Didn't it happen with Lee in this arc? Oh well, I guess I would wait for an NS moment to remind the world.

I do think Kishi has a good memory of the things he did with his story, and that he intends to go through with them.

Remember Neji's death? Even if it wasn't as dramatic as I wanted it to be (pretty difficult to top Jiraiya and Minato/Kushina) it still had very nice callback elements that I had forgotten about. The genius/loser speech and the bird in the cage.

It's that type of thing that makes me sure of Kishi being serious about tying up all of the elements he spread out in his story.

True, but do you think he'll piece together something as little as "...." together with whatever else. I do feel Kishi may show her more of the NS bond, and have her see with her own eyes just who Naruto loves but if he does that, then I don't think there will be a reference to the hug scene. There could be though.

Yeah, I do think he knows his story well enough. Funny how that volume goes back to the Chuunin Exam arc, as it really shows the full circle developments from K9. That's why I feel like it was a nice way to close things off. Is it truly a closure? Well, if Kishi truly cares for K9, I'll say after this battle, it will be. The funny thing is that Team 7 can go back to chapter 3 if the full circle is what Kishi has been planning.

What Kiba said was funny and sly, but not silly. Silly is what Hinata blushing would've come up as. Very out of place with all the cool entrances, if you ask me.

Then again, Kiba's comment could be as simple as making a reference to how Naruto acted cool beforehand to make Hinata feel better about herself. Kiba was also there, so it could be just him teasing Naruto for acting like some superhero.

Oh, I guess I'm not alone in this one. Yes, you can argue that his reference could be love thing or hero thing. It's not as direct as Konohamaru or that toad. Those are plain direct. Thanks for pointing that out. happy.gif

It definitely happens in other Manga but the problem here is that Hinata has never thought about Naruto feelings for Sakura and if she knows something (only speculation) then she doesn't care, those two factors alone tells me that Hinata is not meant for Naruto, looking on the story in a logical standpoint.

Whenever we see a story were the guy gets broken after seeing the girl he loves in the hand of another person but decides to step away for her happiness, it shows how much he truly loves to a point where he is even willing to sacrifice his own happiness for her. This is normally resolved two ways: It wasn't meant to be, normally happen in Shōjo Manga where the girl is the main character or she will come to notice the guy at the end normally when the guy is the titular character.

But with Naruto is the fact that he step away for her happiness but Sakura only gets hurt by Sasuke meaning that she is mean to move on from that hurtful love and eventually fall for the guy who truly loves her and really makes her happy, to make this point even more obvious the fact that Sasuke is not focus on Sakura and Hinata has never struggle seeing Naruto liking another girl, something Sakura and Naruto already went through with both of them not being that happy with the idea of Sakura loving another person or Naruto loving another girl.

Why on heart you feel Hinata blushing at Kiba's word or find it out of place when she vowed to hold his hand and she made a comment about his hand, that's what I meant how can you find her blushing funny or silly when she has done worst in the mix of this war.

Oh, it was a comparison thing. I thought you said I already found the hand holding funny.

As to why I don't find the hand holding comment in 573 to be bad, well, for one it tied to what happened in 615. It seems it was just Kishi's way to foreshadow Hinata's moment. If the hand holding hadn't happen I would've found her comment in 573 odd since it felt out of place to have that thought at the moment. But thanks to 615 it feels like it fits.

As for the comment of Naruto's big strong hand, well, maybe it was to emphasize how Hinata feels safe with it. Nobody will feel safe with a small weak hand. laugh.gif

I dont know what to say about those dots bubble but didnt it feel odd that Sakura commented when she was healing Hinata about loving Naruto. I think that every team has secrets like Hinatas feelings for Naruto that are only shared in the team. could hinata not know about narutos feelings yet kiba was at the confession yet teased about hinata and naruto.

I don't know about calling it odd, but if this is a way for Sakura dropping hints of her affection that she doesn't know, then fine by me. You could say that every team only knows the secret within their own team, but that's what happens when you don't spend time with others. Again, it's debatable what Kiba said is about hero worship or romance. Until proven otherwise, I'll say the first, but feel free to choose any.
