Any threats to NH and SS had to be removed. Yamato and Karin gone. Sai turned into a NH shipper. Naruto doesn't confess to Sakura. Sakura turned back into a fangirl. The list goes on.

and nh fans got the nerve to say the movie was spectacular when there are cringe worthy plot holes in it. take a look at this wonderful post from tumblr that sums up the last:

 

Road to Ninja: Movie about bonds, family, the importance of relationships, the Uzumaki family, Minato and Kushina’s sacrifice, Naruto understanding his family’s decision and respecting it, Sakura understanding Naruto’s pain

 

The Last: movie about destroying the bonds Naruto have fought so hard for. Do you see the problem here?

That's exactly it too. This is why RTN will always be the best Naruto movie, and I will consider that canon before the Last Retcon.

I feel bad for Karin, I kind of liked her, despite her being all sasuke fangirl.

But all the girls were pretty much love sick puppies in this manga so what can ya' do.

Oh look another retcon     .  I feel so sorry for Karin  didn't ship SK bc its dark and murder attempt but  I thought that SK could work  bc they fitted  bc both Sasuke and Karin were crazy and had a past and connection  and she didn't love him for his looks but his smile and bc he saved her  . And I just remembered that Kishimoto never explained what is that Karin has done for Sasuke so special  Suigetsu said that there was some history between them  and Kishimoto said in an interview that he will resolve this in the end . Yeah right he resolved alright he made her disappear for good   .  Can't have any threats for   SS/NH    .

At least Naruto's voice actress isn't doing Naruto anymore. She apparently was upset with the ending and won't be voicing him in any future movies. Though I think she'll finish up the anime.
