Final numbers for The Last in Japan is out and it's 1.98 billion. Well......you tried.
So it still remained at 16 million?
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

They barely missed their mark by 2 million yen. I would hardly that a failure. The cumulative international releases will more than compensate for the discrepancy.

I didn't say it was but I remember the news once called it an easy 2 billion. Where are they to say it now.

It's not "easy", but the international releases will enable them to reach that mark.

Still, I don't think they managed to make the cut where the last could actually be considered sucessful that is 3 times the production values
Persona 5 hype

Luckily, they expanded the market to reach that, rather than last previous movies. I feel like it's timing because as of late, we now start expanding movies oversea, unlike before. It used to be rare, but now, it's growing more so than ever.

I heard that any time now TV Tokyo can drop the anime. I heard it was that bad and not doing well.
i doubt they'll drop it. it feels like they had many opportunities to do so, how low must it go to be dropped? that's why i don't believe they will do it.

Yeah, and SP isn't going to learn from their mistakes of this and neither will Kishimoto-sensei, Sparda. They'll see it as a success when it's a bomb. XP Now they'll just try to do what they (Studio Pierrot and Kishimoto-sensei) can do to try to wrangle back everyone they kittened over for the ending of the series to be how SP wanted it to be. X-P Even with their expanding more so than it had been in the past with movies going overseas, it doesn't mean it helped what they did.
There's a good reason why I ship NaruSaku is because of I think they have one of the best chemistries in fiction. I think it's one of the most realistic pairings because they didn't get along at first but in time starTed to get along and starting to fall in love with each other until the last.
Yeah, Ken, where Studio Pierrot screwed them over just to give their beloved "princess" what she "deserved".

One thing I hope that happens, even if I know it could sound like me being a bitter pill, is that sales for Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 tank BIG TIME as another sense of karma.

I don't really think it will
The storm games got repetitive as kitten but they still make decent money

I know this question has been asked before, but aside from NS being canon how did you guys think the series was going to end?
