Anyone, can someone confirm me that this movie pretty much retconned the confession from Pain Arc? They made it seem like it's the first one ever.
The real question is is there anything that wasn't retconed about NS and Naruto and Sakura 
.
Well, I wouldn't have gotten involved but that particular poster has been unfair in his assessment. Ever since the movie release he's been bashing Naruto no-end and all the while singing praises of Sakura. Its one of the things I always complain about this site, the extreme Sakura fans always turn their frustrations on Naruto and its really silly.
Both characters were terrible after 698. Its that simple. Why bash one character while completely ignoring the faults of the other? Its no different than what the extreme Hinata fans do. Its unnecessary.
Lol, I'm over it now. I was just replying to his comment. But yeah, I'm not blaming Naruto or Sakura for any of this mess, since it all falls on Kishimoto.
I understand both of your POV but really the mature objective thing is to cut it out and blame it on Kishimoto
. Well its over now so lets not do that anymore and exactly Kishimoto is the one we should let our frustration
fall upon he's the sexist pig who did this so no more blaming N & S we are better then that

That is what this movie did. It nullified the entire story. Great job there Kishi.

I'll be honest...as a woman I'm more angry at Sakura for asking to go with Sasuke that way. Though Naruto should've had some balls and confessed... nothing good comes out of fear and guilt.
But like everyone's been saying; This is ALL Kishimoto's fault. Not the characters. He stunted their development.
Oh that rant was there alright,but it was when 699 came out.Then i wasn't there but I heard from my friends that the rant on sakura was going on among them.
It was naruto's turn this time.

it seems like she's getting the worse treatment. first she becomes eharmony for naruto and hinata, then she has her heroine status revoked and given to someone who is clearly undeserving of it. to top it all off, she apparently becomes a single mother. i'm glad the japanese fans feel sorry for her the most.

They did the same thing in an episode after 166 right ? Maybe they think of it as comedy but its not really amusing in any way. It comes off more as snide. Why would they give reasons for certain fans to be annoyed when the intention is to sell their movie to as many people as possible? Its really crazy.
