I have an idea for a discussion.

Why don't we all list an SS/NH or anti NS argument that bothers us and attempt to analyze it and determine if it's valid or not.

Just as an example: Itachi mentioned to Naruto that Minato was able to be hokage because he had a strong woman at his side. Naruto has made a remark about Hinata being strong and Hinata's deepest desire is to remain at his side. Is this a solid hint that Hinata will be Naruto's wife?

I already have an answer for this but I couldn't think of anything better at the moment. Feel free to address this one or come up with one of your own.

Isn't Sakura also strong (Naruto mentioned it many times) and always at Naruto's side (much more often than Hinata)? CPR is the evidence. The future hokage saves the day, but Sakura is the one who saves the future hokage. No doubt, she'll exchange her life for his not only out of personal feelings, but because she knows that Naruto's life and willpover is essential for the world.

Absolutely.

How about this one. Sakura was getting flowers from Ino's shop to give to Sasuke and Lee. She picked a flower that would wait through the long cold winter keeping it's beauty waiting for the hope of spring.

Is this foreshadowing proving that Sakura will never lose her love for Sasuke no matter how bad it gets?

Absolutely no because that flower wasn't only for him it was also for Lee so its not something "special" or has any deep meaning .

If it's in an official book... Kishi would of had to have wrote that.

So are we counting it as evidence now despite not knowing what the original version said?

I saw that text in the SJ book, and as I know those exact words are confirmed because I have that book in my hands long time ago in a book store.

but I'm not sure is wrote an editor, or just was a comment from American journalist.

Here at SJ translated for my country, journalists write very negative reviews about Sakura, I hate it and never had interest to re-read their reviews. I only care for Kishimoto or their editors.

Actually I agree with you. Not only was it also for Lee, she was never actually able to give it to Sasuke himself. Possibly symbolic that it was never meant to be.

I don't remember the word 'strong' even being mentioned? Hinata wants to be by Naruto's side, but not in a way that stands out. Sakura has stood out numerous times, she is his closest companion ,no examples now must sleep exam zzz.

If there were more moments like 615, if Hinata was constantly by his side maybe she would've had a chance but she's not even close.

First off to start, Itachi hasnt addressed he become kage because he had a strong woman by his side, the whole argument doesnt even exists to begin with and also the mention of Kushina is because she's the only named "supporter" of Minato we dont know what were his other friends, it was shown 4 fodders but they doesnt have a name.

His point was just to address that he didnt become hokage alone.

For the most part, all of the arguments defending NH or SS are shallow and crumble easily.

In reality, Hinata and Sasuke are not the biggest threats to NS. Those threats are Sakura and Naruto themselves and the harsh circumstances they'll have to endure after the war. Naruto could get too busy to explore a relationship, and Sakura would simply stay by his side as a solid support without trying to confess for the third time after the two failed attempts. Their relationship may face a long plato on the road from  friendship to settling as lovebirds.

Yeah pretty much that's why the only real threat is an open-ending.

NH isn't a problem because as 450 establishes Hinata knows about NS and is happy for them

and as posted above SS has been dead since the beginning of Part 2 than brought back to life in LOI...for the sole purpose of just getting killed off again...

Also Shikamaru said the same thing that he would be by Naruto's side, NH has about as much evidence as NaruShika

We may always hope that those teenage hormones will kick in, meaning Naruto and Sakura will jump each other on the baby boom wave. Lol.

I heard from a usernamed freakysandra in this forum that in her country that one person who work at sj wrote positive feelings about sakura to naruto interaction or anything narusaku related but, the person got bashed by nh fans after that They never wrote anything positive about ns but, positive things about nh.

wow i can't imagine when or if ns becomes canon what will the Western sj workers will feel? will they also jump into the ban wagon of bashing and go aganist kishi?

I heard many rumors and legends of what NH fans do, but I'm not sure if all are true, they are probably just rumors but I read that Kishimoto was intrigued with Western NH fans that sent him death threats, one time I read in tumbr that Kishimoto was angry with Pierrot for Hinata's confession chapter because had a different message that he makes in manga

I do not know which are true, which if checked is where he says that the NH fans are very noisy and had to say that heroin was Sakura, that comment is the only that I have confirmed as official.

I think that in the battle where everyone find  himself and know who is, in our actions is where we define

I think the same with this battle, Team 7 discovers who is everyone and what feels everyone, so it has been almost all the highlights in NS moments, always have been critical and difficult times where everyone is busy...

well just my opinion ;)

Well, since we're throwing around SS/NH/Anti-NS arguments, I'll put out this one that I just read yesterday.

When the alliance was on their way to Naruto, Hinata made a speech that she'd hold his hand and walk with him. It was the most romantic one out of subtext while everyone else, even Sakura, had more platonic speeches. Because of Hinata's speech, is this foreshadowing she'll be together with Naruto and walk with him as a wife?

Well, the hand holding is done. Now, walking together....I don't know how will Kishi go about this. Its a bit difficult to picturize this, but she'll definately get this one too, either in her dreamland or in reality.

I think it because came out in SJ is 85% likely to be written by an editor

talk about Hinata is boring and putting me cranky xD

the "walking thing"  I think it's more like "support his cause", or "be on his side" as Shikamaru, Chouji, Lee, etc.

What I do not understand is that Hinata assumes all thinking only of her feelings, seems never to have considered what feels Naruto, I always thought if Hinata really knows Naruto well enough to know how much Naruto loves Sakura, seems very selfish lately.

Naruto loves Sakura such a genuine way that has never forced, first are Sakura's feelings and then him,  is VERY different
