Why on earth annoying? I thought it was really cute and funny. She can give badass speeches and prepare to try to kick some ass and have a cute moment about the guy she likes.

Main characters, however, has to be fully developed - in strenght, in mind, in love, etc. And we get this complex development in Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura.
All the other characters appear in manga mostly with one purpose and they reach for it. For example:
Neji - proving better than the main house;
Lee - proving the value of hardwork;
Shikamaru - going from lazy deadlast in class to genius strategist;
Gaara - going from hated by everyone and hating everyone to Kazekage;
Chouji - going from fat sissy to powerful soldier;
etc etc.
Some side characters just are there without any development and it's okay as it is, e.g. Kiba, Shino... Of course, they get stronger, but every shinobi gets stronger with time, so it doesn't count.
And here we have Hinata. Her only purpose was to be next to Naruto. Now she is and that's as far as her character should go.
That's why her taking the spotlight of a heroine would be ridiculous. She achieved her purpose, now time to retreat back to the shadows or bushes or wherever she was.
If in the next chapters Hinata fights alongside Naruto as equal, that would be pure BS.

One time was enough and it was positive to her character development, doubt Kishi will do it again. Can't forget Hinata is not the only one in the field Kishi is going to focus on the other rookies.

That's like if Sakura were to say "Omg Sasuke-kun's sooooo warm I can feel his muscles!" when she hugged him from behind after he flipped out on the Sound-nin during the Chunin Exams.
That's distasteful period - fangasming during a serious situation. I'm glad Sakura DIDN'T do that.
Yeah haha, she even said his hand made her feel safe.
I just want to tell her "Hey, Hinata! This is not a place to feel safe and calm!"

Either way it's all the same. She's still thinking about romance with the guy after her cousin just died and there's a war going on....

Yes, she did. Is that the only thing on her mind? No. Is that the main thing on her mind? No. What is? Fighting this war with Naruto.

No, she is lecturing Naruto about not forgetting Neji's sacrifice. It is Naruto who almost flips Neji the bird by falling in despair. This chapter has the villain's speech affect Naruto making him almost falter and forget the war and sacrifices of everyone. Hinata reminds him of that. So it's in fact exactly the opposite of what you suggest.

I never said otherwise. You can complain about how NH is bad writing as much as you want, but it doesn't change the fact that whatever pairing happen in the end, it's gonna be an asspull, especially Narusaku. In fact, narusaku would be more of an asspul than naruhina if it happens right now.

In your words, what will make NS an asspull? Please tell me this because I want to know.

That tends to happen when people can't give a good argument. Can't blame them. It's not their fault their mother did all types of drugs when she was pregnant with them. xD
