I agree with you and this is what I mean about the importance of rin parallel sakura.
About the bold, what do you mean by that?

He's saying that when 614/615 happened Rin was being talked as a friend because Obito tried to pull Obi/Rin on Naruto with Neji's death comparing it was a death of a comrade, then later right now Rin's being bought up as a love interest and the analogy of a missing heart, because of the death of his love interest.

Hmmmm.... I'm not sure. Sasuke has changed also just like Sakura and Naruto. They've all matured a bit. If Sasuke is "good" when he gets back, I could see him treating them fairly well for the most part. It'll be odd though seeing this though considering Naruto didn't have a part in it at all. Would he be happy or bummed that HE didn't save Sasuke? I'm certain Sakura's not going back to her old ways but I'm anxious to see how she'll react because I can't even peg it. LOL

He'll be okay with them when he gets to the battlefield since he's helping and now wants to protect the village. Not returning to his old self. That's, like you said, has to be a part there from Naruto as well.

I think Sakura will react surprised, like everyone else. Then it's very possible that she'll have a role when Sasuke is there, and Team 7 reunion again and stuff... The usual. I think too that somehow, she'll be triggered to think about her leftover feelings for Sasuke. As for Sasuke interacting with her, that's too can happen like how he and she interacted with each other in Shippuden which is normal interactions.

All of those four possibilities can happen with her. They're not far from being put up to happen.

- So we have Konohamaru teasing Naruto and Sakura of being together

- Gamakichi later implies Sakura is Naruto's girlfriend

- Ramen guy in a filler teases Naruto about being on a date with Sakura

- Sai with his vague comments

- Yamato with his unfinished sentence

- The entire village later just stares and blushes as Naruto and Sakura have a romantic hug (even Hinata is smiling)

- Kushina then reveals she wants Naruto to be with someone like her

- Kushina once again teases Naruto in the movie, and Minato just assumes that Naruto could only be angry if he fights with Sakura

- AU Ino hinting in the Drama CD that Sakura likes Menma/Naruto with Sakura hesitating for a second when asked if she really doesn't like him

Don't know about the rest of you but I find it hard to believe that NaruSaku was just a red herring when everyone and their mother needs to have an opinion/reaction about their growing relationship.

Well, for those who are very attached to their arguments, they'll sure going to see it that way. But, in general, NS isn't a red herring since it's been there and developed from the beginning, and combining a hero and a heroine.

Well, his arrival will be the perfect way for her to resolve her feelings for him though I hope before he does arrive, Kishi gives NS a bit of interaction. I mean, I don't want them to have their moments solely when Sasuke's in the picture. I'd also be nice to see Naruto thinking about Sakura in some way when he does return. I could see Kishi possibly having Naruto say something like, "Sasuke's back Sakura.", and then some inner dialogue like that hints toward Naruto pushing for Sakura's TRUE happiness even though he's the who makes her happy.

Though I wonder if Kishi will wait to resolve her feelings for him? To continue to play with the couples of the manga? I mean, he has really not been doing much with NS as of late, so who knows.

If they have any conversation at all, it will be related to what's going on before them: Figuring out a strategy with Naruto injured, determining how long it will take to heal him, or narrating the events that occur on the battlefield, (ex. "The Jyuubi is out of control!").

I don't think that her feelings will be resolved completely now. It's more like towards the battle of Naruto and Sasuke. But, resolving her feelings now can happen like showing us Sakura with inner dialogue that she has moved on or something.

I mean granted there's a bit more on Rin and after Obito's "death", I'm concerned because the volume just started and if Obito get TnJ, it will be too early. So, I guess they can fight but I wonder how long that would last. I don't even know Kamui would work, especially now he can't spam it due to no Kyuubi's chakra. This is a bit hard to figure it out. Well, it will be Kakashi's first (?) boss battle unless says otherwise. Looking forward for what's next.

Hmmmmmmm, given how quickly things were brought up and confirmed in this chapter, I think he's gonna show a bit of both. I wouldn't be surprised. Now, IF Kishi had spread the reveal a bit, then I would of definitely thought that it would be all about Kakashi and Obito but I don't think the volume will be now unless he throws romance into the mix between Obito/Kakashi/Rin. Hopefully the battle's not a dull one either.

Haha, if he does give all of the panel time to the battle, then I'm with ya. She'll likely be done healing Naruto, plus Sasuke and co will probably have almost arrived on the battlefield thus meaning no awesome interaction before then. Blahhhhhhh! LOL

I'm not saying he won't survive but I feel like either talk more, fight, or change of plan. I mean I'm trying to picture on how the fight goes. The place they're in seems hard to strategize, as in limit. I guess I do have to wait to see what's next. If the fight starts next chapter, it should last 6 chapters max. Last two chapters will be the conclusion and a cliffhanger for what's next, most likely Sasuke's arrival. That's how I see it for now.

Well Jiraiya also was popular and he died anyway, i dont think his popularity is comparable as Hinata which has marketing implicances, i believe for Obito, he will either die along with Kakashi or he will sacrifice himself using the edo tensei because of his redemption ot o something good as he would have to do like Nagato, since he's a parallel to Naruto everything goes to Naruto's shoulders that he has to succeed on his way to peace and i strongly believe that Sasuke will oppose to that.

I do agree with you but after all those lessons i believe he will forgive Obito(the final blow on Obito's redemption), based on the same mindset on Jiraiya's death.

Yeah, but that's what I mean. Imagine he get TnJ by Kakashi. They go back to the battlefield, Naruto sees them, Obito just do that revival thing, then he dies. The only thing Naruto probably think is what the hell just happened. It feels odd. I don't know, maybe I should just wait for next chapter. For the record, all characters so far got their payback, so Naruto needs to get one. How all this goes down...
