Sakura and Sasuke's relationship is of the abusive kind. It's more about sufferung than love, as I see it. This kind of emotional bond may be quite insistent but barren altogether, thus never resulting in happiness for both parties. She will be the one always giving and he'll be only taking or rejecting her. What's good about such emotional parasitism for Sakura? Nothing. She will wilt without a dose of sunshine everyday. And Naruto can be the source for that sunshine.

To get the topic back on NaruSaku,  what's the general consensus about what Naruto feels about his relationship with Sakura right now on what it is or not? I've seen some mixed opinions on it lately and I'd be nice to see it debated. So which option are you betting on?

 

A). Naruto still believes his feelings for Sakura are one-sided and that she just still loves Sasuke, no matter what Sakura said to him during the confession.

B). Naruto mostly believes Sakura doesn't reciprocate, but he's a bit more open-minded on the idea than he was pre-confession.

C). Naruto doesn't know what to think about Sakura's feelings for him right now.

D). Naruto believes Sakura returns his feelings, but he's still a little confused on her feelings for Sasuke.

 

I'm somewhere between A and B. Naruto seemed so stubborn about Sakura not loving him at all during the confession and then again he insisted to Sai she loved Sasuke, but the part where I consider B is that he called Sakura "more or less" his girlfriend in 631 with a straight face which is confusing for me to interpret still.  

D sounds like the most logical to me.

Naruto got the message that Sakura is returning his feelings throughout Part 2, enough where he's able to ask her out on dates on multiple occasions.

After everything that went on between them it would have been weird if he introduced her as just his friend. Basically what I got from it was that Naruto considers Sakura his girlfriend but he's not sure whether Sakura feels the same hence the "more or less".

I agree with this.

 

Somewhere between A and B. Naruto thinking Sakura still doesn't love him will make it all the more dramatic when he finds out that isn't the case.

 

I think he told his dad that Sakura was his girlfriend because he really wanted him to think so. He hesitated because he knew he was telling a lie and that Sakura would probably react the way she did.

I don't know. I think she reacted like that out of embarrassment.

SS is just depressing. How can you ship a pairing where the guy is constantly trying to stab the girl and the girl pretty much destroys herself over the guy :/  I'll never understand SS fans.

Sasuke have always psychic problems. First kill Itachi,later Konoha now Madara. I admit that i could never support SS because of Sasuke and Sakura childish love.

 

As someone mentioned, SS is most probably a teen romance sort of thing whereas NS is a more mature love story. Since it is a teenage love story, it seems to be more popular.

IKR? even though I love Sasuke. I admit that he doesn't deserve a love of a women and specially Sakura. He better off stay single 

Well same thing NH wrote about Sakura. That she dont deserve because she punch him and call 'baka'. Well NH dont see diffrent between killing someone and comedic moves

Hell even I am 17, but I still like NS XD. It is not applicable to everyone but to some of the SS fandom.

Sakura calls Naruto a 'baka', so? Its not like she is abusing him. Atleast, for their record, Sakura becomes tsundere with no one other than Naruto. To me this really shows how deep their friendship is and how much of a comfort they have between them. You open up and be your true self only with people whom you trust and with whom you share a deep bond. Same goes with Sakura to Naruto. Atleast that 'baka' sounds better than 'Naruto kun'

I just turned 19 but i've only been interested by NS in all the time i've read the manga. The other pairings are just imagination of people

Sakura@ that interview is so FAKE, it was made up by the fandom wishful thinking from their part. Do you seriously believe Kishimoto will say spoilers from his manga especially when it comes to pairings? I don't think so. Though ironically last year a NS fan made a fake Kishi interview favoring NH and SS becoming canon but it was an April Fool's joke and they all believed it was true lol.
