To me its just narutos goal to save sasuke was easy stated before, its still just that despite the kitten sasuke has caused, naruto is the one who wants to save him from his own self destruction, but despite the obsession as some call it, it makes snese in context now with the stuff from itachi, whole deal with understanding the want of revenge as naruto had the choice to put down nagato but chose not too, the whole conflict growing with sasukes involvement in the akakstui, etc. Naruto understands and at some points sympathizes with sasukes reason given his own ill treatment as a child but naruto overcame that hate and just let it go and just moved on with the past is in the past, theres no point in making an issue out of what the villagers did to him. I mean some cases, its gone to far but naruto and sasukes relation, naruto sees sasuke like a brother and naturally, wants to save his family member and believes that anyone can change. I mean he gave obito a chance and obito saved him, in context, obito may have done much much worse in some cases attacking the villages and using everyone (save kisame and zetsu who knew about the eye of the moon plan), but he came back from this all and managed to save naruto, sakura and may just end up killing madara in the end.
