Sorry to interrupt but... today I just remembered that thing with Hinata is like Minato. Funny how it's... not!
When Sakura isn't like Kushina, she's definitely acting like Minato.



It's funny how both Naruto and Sakura are a mixture of Minato and Kushina. When they're not like one they're like the other one, hehe.

@Nostradamus: I am in for it of course! And btw, I wrote a rant explaining the difference between the hand holding and the hug. Why the latter is romantic and the hand holding it's not.

Look keep in mind that this whole "Hinata is like Minato" is due to a stupid filler when they shown Kushina and Minato with Naruto's age, for some stupid reason they made Minato stalk Kushina the same way Hinata did with Naruto.
They made Kushina struggle due to the fact she was a foreigner and the people mocked about it(which is retarded) and Minato was there stalking her and watching her struggling.

Epic debate as always Chatte. I just had to lol at some of the replies saying that the Sakura shocked panel is because of" Neji's death" or because" she felt guilty that she couldn't heal Neji in time to save him". I have to disagree because her shocked panel was AFTER Hinata put her hand on Naruto's cheek Kishi is clearly showing to the reader that panel is the result of Sakura's reaction to Hinata's action.

Kishimoto was saying that Sakura was being honest, yes, but he never said about which part of that confession. I believe she was being very honest too, after she tried telling Naruto she loves him. Look at Sakura’s face when she’s confessing to him; she’s obviously tense, her eyebrows are knit together, and the whole way she went about confessing to him is horribly awkward. Everyone around her had no idea what she was doing, and even Naruto called her out on her lying. Sakura had a clear motive in confessing, and there’s not way there are hidden feelings in there that spoke of true love, because then the entire thing would have felt honest and like it was coming from the heart. The way Sakura confessed everything felt very scripted.

But here’s where Sakura’s honesty, the whole reason for her confession, comes through;



Honesty and impressive stubborn determination. It’s all right here in this page. She even says, “I want you to give this up and come back to the village! That’s why I chased you all the way out here. That’s all there is to it!” In saying this, she basically discarded anything she said about loving him.

I am debating with an SS fan after I finished with NaruHina101, lol. I think we all know him.

I would just use the panels where Sai tells Naruto about her true intentions. How she did this because she cares about Narutos feelings and well-being (Even more than Sasukes at this point). If he ignores the evidence there, then there is no point in debating him because he is being hard-head and ignoring the facts that are being presented in the manga.

She told about her feelings for him, she was still in love with Sasuke but she hasnt found how to name those feelings she does have for Naruto.
She cant say she loves Naruto while does not resolve this stuff with Sasuke

The reason Sakura confessed might've been because Naruto was pushing himself with Sasuke and she wanted him to stop, but that doesn't mean she thought that her confession was a lie itself.

The reason for her tension during the confession was to let Naruto, and the readers, know that something was off, not that it was a lie. Even if she wanted to be with Naruto, it was hurting her to be forsaking Sasuke since she also cares for him, so it was inevitable that she would give off a feeling of resignation during the confession.

Edit: sakura has moved on from sasuke, she no longer loves him, she just cares for him, and its only a matter of time its addressed in the manga.She loves naruto.Not sasuke.Period.

Will try to do it, actually. I am really pissed at the majority of people sh**ting on Sakura's love for Naruto. WTF?! I mean, really... We, NS fans admit that she still has feelings for Sasuke, even though they're lingering feelings, but doesn't matter, we admit them, yet, the whole other fandom kittens on her love for Naruto. WTF? I mean, really... They bashed her in part one because she didn't care about Naruto nor returned his feelings yet, when she does, they still don't like it. Wtf, get serious people, will ya?!
I definitely have to find time for that.
As for the autumn skies metaphor in the confession... I wonder how many people observed the subtext there and in road to ninja... The flowers of Sasuke's rose start wilting and falling away and that thing with the autumn skies. As we all know, in the autumn, the leaves wilt and fall away. So that's another thing that Kishi introduces as a subtext to the confession yet, people don't notice it... Meh, anwyay.

I understand what you mean. I don't like to make one side good and the other is bad, but these active users are really pushing it. I know not all fans are not like that, but the active ones are really pushing it. The only one I know for NS is back in NF. Although he does share some nice stuff that I wasn't aware, including the sticker "Uzumaki Sakura" back in Japan, but he's a little too excited, so push buttons on other fans. That said why is it feel like we are defending at all time and never get the chance to enjoy the pairing. I don't think I ever over glorified a moment but again, knowing this is the last arc (maybe), they have to give it all. Still, at least respect us as we respect you. Is that truly hard to ask?

I checked out the confession episode once again, and now I see it this way:

Sakura: Naruto, we both had remaining issues with Sasuke but let's just forget about it, I already did. Let's just skip to the happy ending and throw Sasuke aside.

Naruto: Sakura, Sasuke is our friend we can't just put him aside, and you won't be completely happy with me until you can face your issues with Sasuke. Just like I can't become Hokage if I can't at least help him.

Sakura: But that means you'll be in danger. It's not worth it that way, dammit! Let's just try and force our happiness already.

Naruto: But it won't be true happiness that way. We can both achieve the happiness that you're proposing, but if we just discard Sasuke it won't happen.
