He, same goes for me, in these multiple choice games I also end up being the goody two shoes, like in fallout, it just doesn't feel right to go causing mayhem to the inocent bystanders who did nothing wrong, I actually mostly aways end up helping them unconditionaly, even though I can be pretty cruel with the bad guys depending of how much of an bastard they are. You know, an punisher like character

Nothing wrong with that, I'm always vicious to my enemies too. However, I've been playing Mass Effect 2 a lot, and there's a lot of really good renegade responses. So, right now, I've made some sarcastic and abrasive comments on that game, but when I do make big decisions, it'll always be a good guy choice. I'm kinda annoyed now though, because there's a few choices where I need to increase my Paragon meter to resolve it the way I want it to end, so do a long quest, end it but have to make a dialogue option, but the option I want is greyed out so I have to reload to before I did the quest and do something else to increase my Paragon meter. It's not like my first playthrough where I made all Paragon good choices except for a few Renegade choices and I didn't have a problem with the greyed options.

Yeah, I played Mass Effect 2 a little too, and there were some times were I could had just killed my enemies but I didn't, like in the spacial night club, can't remember the name now, there some aliens suffering from infection, I had gone to help them in order to recruit the doctor, there were some renegates causing trouble in the infected area, and instead of just getting rid of them, I convinced them to stop fighting and go look for help, after all, it wasn't really their fault, they were sick, and afraid to die, I couldn't fault them for what they were doing, but there were also some bad choices that were funny, like in the night club entrance, with some mercenary tughs trying to scare me, and when I answered back, they totally cowered, it quite amuzing.

In ME 2 unlike in ME it really doesn't matter how much your meters are filled up. It's really about how much your meter is filled up at that stage in the game.
Explain: If you were have a small Paragon meter at the very late part of the game, and you went back and did a quest that should have been done at the beginning of the game, you won't be able to pass those meters. Long story short: Unless you are completely Paragon or Renegade it's really hard to get the check for the Miranda and Jack dialogue. (Though I don't care. Jack can die as long as me and Miranda are together forever.

That's the main reason why I still haven't finished Jack's loyalty mission (finished Miranda's earlier), since I played the mission and found out I didn't have enough. I'm kinda paranoid now, that I don't have enough. Zaeed's too, since his requires a paragon/renegade option to acquire his loyalty if you choose to save the factory workers. Ah well. I'm using ME2 to satisfy me until DA2 anyway.

I hope it works out. But I know a friend of mine did that same thing, and he never had enough. But you never know. I think ME is better than DA though, but they are still both great games.

Ok but then just pick another game with people that are serious about playing (were you in a clan?)
I wasn't but played regularly with the same people (of which I knew 3 from school)
And I die a lot in games, like 2 times for every kill I get but I always just run into a group and kill the ones that make it difficult for the other and I have a tendancy to run into saboteur traps and scouts think I'm a pretty easy target.
I didn't actually play MUCH as a scout but one of my friends did. The one I refer to as my scout, I was kinda like a vice-captain among my friends. The captain wouldn't come online very often, so. I'm more like a support fighter setting up turrets and quickly close in with boost to finish it someone of with the shotgun.
Well here the RPG element kicks in. A scout has to behave as a scout and not kill every target on sight. They're mostly to inform other members on your team about the movement of the other team. And only take action to prevent losing a point. And definitley has to switch places after a kill prefered with a guard (mostly saboteur so he could rig the entrance of the sniper hideout).
Saboteur goes on his way then.
Hence, the value of practicing non scoped kills. I'm rather good at them myself and if you're discovered just wait for them to show up in the building. Non-scoped works better at close range as you probably understand. Stay out LOS of snipers and splash damage from assaults while waiting. And a hint when killing someone with a grenade your cloack doesn't deactivate.
Here's the problem though. You get enough guys in one game using them and the three rocket limit really doesn't amount to a hill of beans. Three or more guys always converging near your spawn point with rocket launchers is not something you can guard against. Dodging won't help, because there's several of 'em. Should you get one, they boost back up with a fresh load of rockets in seconds.
Can easily be countered with a tactician. Just throw spawn grenades => more places they need to guard eventually you'll break through. And while they're guarding they can't complete very much objectives can they?
Same here

DMC has potential to be a good but somewhat cheesy movie. No need to ruin it.

WTF is LG with copyright of blu-ray? as far as I know and concerned LG only produces tv's and cellphones. or did they expand to blu-ray players to?
Figures the ps 3 is like the biggest concurrent for blu-ray players, when I bought it, it was the cheapest blu-ray player available.
And why only make a fuss about it now? How long is it that sony uses blu-ray technology? 3-4 y's?
And I was just thinking about replacing my PS3 with one with a bigger HD...
They better leave sony alone or I could get the same train of thought like Cloud.

Funny thing about that, I have to wonder if that will stay in movie development hell, just like the Halo movie has been.

Or that old lady near Wilhem's dock. Or wandering travelers
But that's about it when it comes to evil deeds.

Funny thing. Street Fighter and Resident Evil get crappy movie treatments year after year... yet the biggest blockbusters never get made. I love Hollywood's thinking.
P.S.
In the next few weeks, I might be rolling out a blogspot for our gaming stuff. News, gaming tournaments, etc. I know I don't update this thread as often as I'd like (work + social life), but I'll try and make a nice little blog and you can all sign up and comment on stuff.
Look for it soon. I have two days off next week, I might do it then.

The Halo movie was dropped.
However the live Mass Effect movie should be in development pretty soon.

Hopefully. I get excited everytime a game movie says its in development, only to hear weeks later its been dropped.
On the gaming blog though. I'm handling the PS3 section, but if anyone is interested in doing the Xbox, PC/Mac sections, you're welcome to drop me a PM, and I'll throw in the stuff you find.

If Dante is not shot in the head by the love interest and impaled at least once in the movie, it's ruined.
It's just not Devil May Cry until Dante yanks a sword out of his chest and kills s*** with it.
Don't expect to ever see it. It's one of those projects that's never going to see the light of day because they just don't know what the **** to do with it. Plus the director troubles.
The problem is, I don't think Halo could really work in a movie setting. It's pretty generic sci-fi. Other than the thrill of seeing Master Chief on screen for fans, I don't think there's a lot for a film of it to offer.
