Of course I do. But you know, we only spent on saving the dorm for past months and around that time is when Erina joined in. So..it hasn't been that long. Shokugeki always takes the length of a sports match, only not the final since that can take 4 volumes alone.

Erina changing to liking Soma after that character creation by her father would be rushed if all changed here already. Soma does stand belief of what she's against. She practically grew up living like that. It's like telling an addict to quit it, it takes time. Yes, I'm with you guys that I want her to open her eyes, but something like this can't be rushed especially this is who she is. Changed that, can't really go back, not that we want that since that's regressing.

Besides, judging by the way it is, we may be in this sort of development with Azami and Elite 10 for a while, so Erina can't change drastically, only to go back whenever a plot twist or whatever occurs.

True that!!! Though I think enough time has passed and its time for at least some development now, Erina's been waiting for to long now imo and I'm talking about cooking not ship wise here. I also can see that the author wants to put Hisako as the catalyst for Erina's opening toward Soma Boy at least I hope that's the case, those panels are just right in your face lol. So I hope it starts from next chap with the celebration party (hope they don't skip it).

Better than nothing, Sparda. One thing I wonder... was Azami always like this, or did something happen in his days at the school that just made him become as he is? Also, even as crazy as his idea to have Central dictate what will be done and others copying it without any soul is, he almost seemed genuinely sincere when he told the students at his press conference that none of them were sacrificial pieces. Gotta wonder if his father-in-law made him feel that way even when he was married into the family, and tha tled him to snap and do what he did to Erina. I hope we get exposition soon, 'cause some backstory WOULD move things along nicely.

I get the feeling the mangaka has shifted focus from drawing stripping foodgasms to expressions that could give you chills, some of the faces we've seen from Eizen and Azaim in recent weeks seem more fitting in horror stories than a foodgasm battle manga.

To be fair, that's who they are. Eizan has that over the top expressions of rage while Azami, though haven't read the latest one, is more of devil expressions like a Titan, grim reaper, etc. So unless all E10 follow the same trend, then it's normal.

All it takes is another little push  like I SERIOUSLY hope Soma defends Erina from Azami in the next chapter, and then maybe all her hostility will finally break? and Maybe she'll be abit more relaxed around him. maybe even blush a bit more than usual too? Not hoping for too much but it's a start. on the other hand I'm a bit miffed that Mangahelpers requires you to log in to visit their forums. Now I can't see the spoilers *pouts*

Loved Erina and Hisako in this chapter especially Erina , nice development there .  She's finally starting to warm to Soma and PSD especially Soma, not to mention she's finally starting to heal from all that damage and act as a normal teenage girl. Though with the way the chapter ended and that creepy panel, I fear for the worse and things might go bad for her .    

 

The comedy part though it was great through the whole chapter, the famous naked apron finally apeared once again .
