And I really wanted to re read the entire manga. But alass with this it won't be possible. I can't go through that again and see boss moments again just to see how it ends.

Guess that's the price of expecting logic from a children's battle manga. Heck at this point I feel bleach is better written.

I loved Sakura, I loved naruto. Still do and I'll still ship then together and I have my own personal "head cannon" but I just need to detach my self from the cannon.

I find it odd the part where Sasuke thinks he notice something and says "it might just be my impression" though it's the last chapter so it's surely nothing important.

I just can't stand this SS kitten. Obviously it wasn't so hard for Sasuke (and Naruto concerning Hinata) to randomly develop feelings for Sakura that he never had before in the entirety of his life, but apparently it was soooo hard for Kishi to make Sakura accept her developed and continuously hinted at romantic feelings for Naruto which have been growing and growing over time. Yeah ok.

Did you just realize that this site has a lot of misogynistic people? It's disturbing really. They say "development" as reason when this so-called development depends on whether the girl returns the guy's feelings or not. They go and make stories that she "used him" to get her best choice. Imagine if the same situation had happened with Naruto and Hinata. No one is going to give a damn.

Meh, I don't post that often but this isn't a phenomenon exclusive to men. Women do it too. Ff7 triangle debates lasted for 20 some years, and it was always about who "DESERVED" the main characters love because of what they did for him, or for the world.

I just want to know: What was it all for then?
Why even have all of these NS moments in the manga? Why ignore NH for virtually the entirety of part 2 to only have it become canon in the end? Why put so much emphasis on Kushina's words? Why even have her say "find a girl like me" in the first place if Naruto was not going to? Why?

IMO its because the series he was writing up until 698 and these last two chapters are different things. If you remember, back after the Pain arc he said he had the ending all figured out. Yet years later, he started making "The Last" with SP. I think they talked him into doing it this way (for the money, movie, Part 3, merchandizing), but he still wanted to write his own series. That's why up until 698 NS was practically canon and SS was about as dead as possible. That was supposed to be the end but then he switched it out with what we got the movie and Part 3. That's why it's so horrible and OOC.
That's also why it's easy for me to consider it non canon, view 698 as the last chapter (with Naruto saving the world, saving Sasuke, and fulfilling the POAL to Sakura), and just make my own conclusion from there. I won't let 44 pages and a movie ruin and entire 15 year old, 698 chapter series.
At this point I'm just hoping Kishi comes out and admits this wasn't how he intended it, and explain his original plans so we can get closure and the ending we deserved.

I am perfectly calm, my problem with is why you picked me out of everyone that has bashed her character and the way you approached me about the situation. You could have told me to calm down on the character bashing and I would have listened and there would have been no problem whatsoever.

I've always tried liking wine...always too sour for me. I like my stuff sweet Strong bow's Honey and Apple Cider is excellent.

THIS. With Sakura's current development, if she was a real person, she wouldn't revert back to her old self. If she's the person before 698 or even before the confession, she would already have growing feelings for Naruto. Kishi's the one who made her like this in the end.
