It's mostly in the West, though, if I'm not mistaken. The primary audience- the Japanese- seems to favor NS.

considering they have conventions just for NS, not to mention this obviously if someone forgot it: 577231_619183421446220_498362135_n_by_di   and yes its real

Is it just me or does it seem like this is a possible Hinata closure movie?

......
Well, Kishimoto. You did it. lol This came as a huge surprise, but you did it. I'd never thought I find myself saying this, but I hate Hinata. I truly do now. I hate her more than Sasuke now. Sasuke is actually a breath of fresh air compared to all of this.

A love Martyr? Really?

This story...this movie...is going to be a romance movie about Hinata and it is going to feature every romantic cliche plot point I have read in a Shojo manga. It's not even whether or not NH will be canon, but rather this story is....I can't even find the words. She has been in love with Naruto ever since a flashback we never got in the manga and Naruto ignored her? So, what now Naruto has to all of a sudden fall in love with her to save face and if he doesn't he is going to look like the biggest scumbag ever. "How dare Naruto let Hinata beat herself up over this."

I never thought I would say this, but I rather read Sasuke's story all over again. I rather follow Sasuke's adventures at being a wanderer than this. I am not happy with this story plot because this is going to be one huge forced mess where you really are just appealing to whatever the pairing fans are.

If this really is the entire story: That Hinata has loathed herself the entire time for not being with Naruto sooner....then I am not watching this movie. I am not even going to acknowledge it as canon. I am just not. I'm sorry. I hate to talk bad, but this movie's plot sounds ridiculous. Better screen cap this guys. This truly is a surprise

I am now going to go write an apology letter to Sasuke and Sasuke fans who I might have angered. I realized that Sasuke is a much better written character even with all his major flaws.

I just saw the summary about more Hinata wank in the series. And I'm very, very annoyed. Prepare for LAP.

The "love" aspect apparently has a lot about Hinata's feelings in this. I was somewhat tolerant at this at first but when I saw to just what extent ... Why? Of all things, why are we getting the last Naruto movie about Hinata's regrets and whining about how she's not closer to Naruto? It's been three freakin' years. The girl should've moved on with her life after the IT was released or at least stop openly pining after him such as this.

All his Hinata and "NH" attention feels so contrived. Hinata gives him a scarf just because she saw he used to have one with a flashback that was never in the manga. Not the mention Naruto's weird thing with scarves now ... when the kitten did Naruto ever wear scarves until this movie? Why was Hanabi, a character that was nearly nonexistent, kidnapped by a random villain who also for some reason is interested in kidnapping Hinata? All this just feels like an excuse to make Hinata relevant and pretty piss poor ones at that.

Whether NH really is meant to be canon from this or for love triangle drama/giving Hinata closure, either way it is coming off painfully forced. There shouldn't be a "love triangle" anymore. I don't see any reason that Hinata couldn't have prepared to move on after the IT. It certainly would've been better for her character development and for the plot of the movie. Why does Kishi insist on destroying what little potential she has for the sake of pairings? Why does he keep shoving her feelings in our faces when it's never amounted anywhere for most of the series and probably even more so in this movie?

This emphasis on Hinata's feelings is so unnecessary. I am tired of "Naruto-kunning" and tired of her being like a lovesick teenager for absolutely no good reason. I just want Hinata to develop but at this point even when she does get her closure with Naruto it will still look bad. God, does Kishi realize just how repetitive he makes her?!

This overblown focus on Hinata's feelings for Naruto in this movie just makes me sick. When I first heard about love, I expected it to be about the main character finally getting the girl he loves. Instead we get a side character's love seemingly at the front and center over Naruto's.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't care less about Hinata's love problems when we have a MC that still needs more focus on his own resolution. And what makes it worse is their making Hinata's love so ridiculously sympathetic. Seriously, just looking at the summary gives me the impression we should root for Hinata to be with Naruto instead of Naruto winning over Sakura because reasons. :zaru:

I thought we're supposed to support Naruto here, not make it look like a side character's feelings are more important. I guess Kishimoto must've renamed the series "Hinata" and I just wasn't informed.

Amen to these two posts. A-freakin'-men a million times over.

Can we at lease wait for the manga to end before we start panicking?
I don't buy this crap, 8s just talking about Hinata and no one else, I need to get the others role to see whats really going on and that will only happen in the movie plus like I mention before, the Manga still needs to end.

pretty much what I've been saying for awhile. The manga hasn't even ended yet so I'm waiting to see where things go from there given its quite important. For now I'm not really looking too much into these trailers and teasers.

Finally someone else acknowledges this. Orochimaru's influence reaches literally every major country on the continent. He has deceived, harmed, and impacted the populations with his vile experimentations, murders (He assassinated the Kazekage back in Part 1!), kidnappings, and various other dastardly deeds. We all know that he intends to resume these practices after he's rescued from the Shinju and the Alliance is recovering. Moreover, he's the one Sannin whose subplot has yet to be properly concluded. The fact that Team 7 was personally humiliated, defaced, and torn apart as a result of his actions adds even greater incentive for Kishi to provide an extensive, quality arc for him.

I'm just gonna leave this here:
Orochimaru was the last good villain. All the others were rushed in my eyes, or just stale.

I already made up my mind about waiting for the manga, because if I focus on this movie and his teaser then I might become paranoid.
In the end is better to wait I honestly cannot see tbis not ending NaruSaku even in the Movie.

Yeah I actually think Hinata is a decent character, but every time she is portrayed it has to do with her love for Naruto. Can't people see this movie as a way for her to actually have some development and see it as her moment to shine? Whereas she will grow and mature and become a confident leader/member of her clan? Maybe even have her grieve more over neji, since he did care for her deeply, and also have some cute Hina/Hanabi sibling bond moments. Have her explore other emotions, like friendship and sibling bonds. In road to Ninja we got to see Sakura mature in the aspect of her accepting her family and also mostly importantly her accepting/ understanding Naruto a bit more. I hope in this movie, it will show more to Hinata's character than her just being all focused on Naruto. It's sad that most people only see her as Naruto's waifuuuu. But I don't blame them since that's all she's been portrayed as. Ship bait.

I've been saying this for years. Hinata is nothing more than a tool that Kishi can use whenever he wants to add drama to Naruto and Sakura's relationship. He never actually care about this character. Otherwise he would've developed her a long time ago. He keeps that "love" for Naruto part of her character so he can use it whenever he needs to.

Is it just me or does it seem like this is a possible Hinata closure movie?

That's exactly what is and that's exactly what will happen in the end. But we're part of the NS fanbase here. So we need to panic all the time. It's what we do best.

i didn't read a "broken red scarf"... It only says she kitted a scarf....

"Broken red scarf", lmao. I don't understand why her fans want her to be even more creepier and stalker. Just imagine: Hinata took Naruto's old scarf and saved it all this 20 years...

HOW ROMANTIC.

I've been that way since I heard it was coming to an end and seeing the little bits about the movie. There's not enough to go off of in these trailers and spoilers so what's the point in getting frustrated? I'm actually a but excited to see how the last two chapters are gonna pan out and I wonder how Sakura is gonna react to them losing their arm. I feel like we're gonna get some much needed Sakura development and closure as well as some Sakura--->Naruto development. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

I try to be calm about these things, but honestly this plot of movie so far has disgusted me on levels I don't think it could reach. Hinata is NOT the heroine. She is NOT the main character. She is NOT the main character's love interest. If Hinata needs a resolution so bad with her feelings for Naruto, then do it with IT scenario. That way the romance and Hinata's development doesn't look as horrible as it most likely will look after this movie.

I absolutely can't stand how much the advertisements are making it look like Hinata's love matters most, even going great pains to make it too sympathetic (which is exactly why Hinata/NH is so popular btw). It's like spitting on the main character's love effort for Sakura and putting a side character's romantic closure above the character where it actually matters. It's insulting to me that Naruto---at least from how it seems---apparently takes a back seat in favor of irrelevant, one-dimensional character like Hinata.

Even if NH really does happen, I will never consider that something suited for Naruto. By making NaruHina canon you're doing a total 180 and putting a side character's desires about the main character's. I will see that as Hinata winning, not Naruto, no matter what asspull excuse Kishi can give on him suddenly returning her feelings.

Why are people making a big fuss over this movie?  Sakura is the one that never loves Naruto and he deserve to be happy too. If Hinata is the woman that make Naruto happy then he can date her or marry her. If Sakura want Naruto to be her man, she has so many opportunities, but she refused to accept him and chase after Sasuke all this year. I love NS, but the outcome is too obvious.

And she is a second option (silver medal) :fu:

Why would the manga be left open ending? That literally makes no sense no matter how you look at it, in fact it makes less sense the more you think about it.
