when you continue reading ch.79 a lot of things will change. You'll be on the CCG side for a while, and be introduced to another interesting female character. It might get boring though, so bear with that for about ten chapters.

I think a lot of people think the CCG side after the AogiriRaid was boring were itching to see the new Kaneki- and good gosh, that transformation! Good point: there is no clear black and white in this manga. Both humans and ghouls are simultaneously good and evil. As for the anime... Yeah, don't expect too much. But I will say that the voice actors did a phenomenal job. First episode: Kaneki crying to Touka. And the first opening Unravel- one of the best openings of 2014.

Well, if they contribute to the main story, I can't say it's bad. I am really curious on the reason for the sequel but again, I won't spoil myself. Anyway, knowing that there is only 12 episodes irks me because it took me a while to read all of 79 chapters and they were a lot of dialogues. It's like playing Mass Effect when not rushing to the main story. I got more to say later on at tumblr so stay tuned.

It was ok. Surprisingly, I love seeing the CCG side on anime. Guess it's easier to follow the anime instead of reading long speeches. Overall, I think the CCG in TG was ok. Not gonna lie and say that I was trying to speed through it. But the CCG in :re is another matter. I don't why but I feel like we actually learn more about the CCG's background and the Washuu bloodline looks interesting to me.

I think the CCG becomes more interesting in :re simply b/c more light is shed on it. The tone after the Aogiri Raid will change heavily, and Kaneki will try to look for answers about himself, Rize, and the One-Eyed Ghoul King.

Where were you when the Breaker chapter came out ? Jk XD I fell asleep while waiting on it. It's not THAT bad. I watched the anime first and thought it was ok. Btw, did you read what I wrote about the being of Root A? Something tragic might come up soon....

I see. Ok. Hey, we had to deal with Sasuke for more than 3 months and not to mention, no Naruto for a good first day of war. I think I can survive. Granted, he did come back from awesomeness but I can endure it...I think.

Lol I fell asleep and just woke up, i read i a little bit ago. Soooo good!

The anime does zero justice to the manga. The animation is often times kitten, the scenes are sometimes out of place, it really looks like Ishida took over to create an interesting AU so that he can get picked up by a real animation studio later. Honestly, the series could have been so much better with better animation, but he got handicapped by SP. Can't wait till it gets tha adaptation it deserves.

Yeah I saw! I hope you're wrong, but it's actually plausible. I still haven't watched the episode that came out yesterday though.

Can't really argue against that, but it's nice sometimes to see your manga being animated. Let me ask you this: why do you watch the anime to one piece? I've heard numerous horrible things about it. True, they don't skip manga content (I think), but the anime always receives criticism. Entertainment is honestly a reason enough to watch an anime. Studio Pierrot is prob one of the worst animation studios in Japan, but I'm watching an anime from Studio Pierrot right now, and surprisingly it's very good. Lol, you know what? I sound coldhearted, but I wouldn't mind if my theory does come true. We have the manga. And I know that officially it won't end the way as in Root A. From the start, I've been treating Root A as a completely original material. Even as some sort of parallel world. Thus, I expected the ending to be different, and would like to see how Ishida had planned to end Tokyo Ghoul originally.

Ugh the anime...don't get me started, I will complain and the fight scenes aren't worth it because the animation doesn't have the right appeal for it, I even have a problem with the soundtrack even though they're good lol

So, the thing about the ring is twofold: First, you get to see the names of Touka's parents. Arata is Touka's father and Hikara is her mother. Ever heard Arata somewhere before ? Hint: Shinohara's armor had what name? This should tell you something about her father's history. As for Touka's mom... Well, you need to get to at least the Ch.120 I think before I can tell you about my theory. I'm to 80% certain that it is true.

Oh, and of course, her holding a wedding ring, can indicate some romantic implications towards Kaneki.
