It would be awesome if the final episode of tri had Agumon and Gabumon becoming VictoryGreymon and ZeedGarurumon, even if unlikely given just how crazy things have become x_x
It is more possible that Agumon and Gabumon becoming BlitzGreymon and CressGarurumon. Victory and Zeed doesn't have Omegamon. Blitz and Cress have Omegamon Alter-S.

That would be cool too. Was mostly expecting Victory and Zeed given the introduction of Yggdrasil and all, but unless we get surprised, it doesn't look like we'll actually get to see Yggdrasil at all. =\

Possible Yggdrasil is that evil Jenai (that is not jenai supposedly said a official graphic).

I find digimon universe to even more generic then the other seasons of digimon i wonder why its so popular tho. Maybe to kids?

It is possible, you see we say sometimes that Unova or Sun and Moon were the worst, but in Japan were good just because the kids like them.

The CD drama for the 2018 will be a sequel official. It will set two years after series finish series and a time after the first CD drama.
So this confirm that the Runaway movie is far for being canon.
