I still hate NH for killing off Neji. He was a beautiful boy. Guess Hinata fanatics got jealous of him lol.
You know what I found kittened up? How Neji's pic was carried in the wedding, but Minato, Kushina, and Jiraiya's wasn't. It goes to show that literally the only thing NH is about is Hinata. The only reason Neji was even included was because Hinata sacrifices him for her prize. It was a cheap recognition

Where do you get that from? Oda knows exactly where he wants to go, and has made that clear, the only thing he's done is map out all the nuances that will be taken into account to get there. There's only one goal. The ending of Naruto proves that Kishi had no idea what to do, and he had no idea where he was going. He's still making it up as he goes along. Oda plans way in advance.
I might ask you the same question: where do you get the idea Oda knows where to go? For all we know, he might end up only using a few of the subplots he established before by the end and not resolve all of the rest.

Well fun fact for all the gamers which I'm sure most of us are kinda uneasy about this:
Ultimate Ninja Storm 4's release date is rumored to come out either September 23 or December 21 of this year.
Me: eh.. Halo 5 Guardians is what I'm most anticipating in terms of videogames.
THAT'S WHAT HEROES DO, THEY SAVE PEOPLE!!

Because he's done it before. Dragon was introduced 300 chapters before we knew who he was. The War of the best, including the situation surrounding Blackbeard, was foreshadowed in Alabasta. Luffy's striking resemblance to Roger was made 3 times before Rayleigh, as the right hand of Roger, made the comparison himself. The poneglyphs and the ancient weapons held importance 200 chapters before it was shown how dangerous they are.I might ask you the same question: where do you get the idea Oda knows where to go? For all we know, he might end up only using a few of the subplots he established before by the end and not resolve all of the rest.
Literally everything Oda has done has been mentioned well before he's actually addressed it, which means that he's planned incredibly far ahead. He already knows how One Piece is ending, he said that himself.

My main problem with Oda is that he takes too long to resolve/reveal some subplots. It feels like each arc is just a sideshow to the main plot. Dragon and Luffy=Roger is what I get, but The War? do you mean the Marineford war arc? as for Blackbeard, do you mean that time Luffy met him at the bar?

if Hinata was a competent Hyuuga, and not weaker than the dirt she stood on, Neji wouldn't have died.
Neji being the only photo at NH's wedding was proof that NH only happened because Neji died. Naruto and Hinata literally got married to honor Neji!! LOL. Hahahaha how pathetic!!! kitten NH!!

Oda slips things in the current arc to set up things for the future arcs. It's not just one event happens, then the next, then the next, each arc overlaps in some way.My main problem with Oda is that he takes too long to resolve/reveal some subplots. Yeah, the Marineford War was hinted at during Alabasta (the desert place), and Blackbeard was set up even before that, when they met Chopper. Then the two were repeatedly set up over the course of the following arcs until it finally happened. Oda subtly prepares you for what's going to come, that's a big difference between him and Kishi. In Naruto, everything had a clear ending. One arc stopped, pause, next arc began. With Oda, everything flows. Kishi had no idea what he was doing during the end of his story, everything was just thrown together. The things that are happening now in OP were hinted at a loooooong time ago, and that's going to be the same for arcs in the future.

Yup. Like I said, all because of Hinata. If she had any respect for Naruto, she wouldn't have accepted a date, sorry, forced him to date her when it took him a genjutsu to "fall in love" with her, she would have shown him consideration for how he really felt. That in and of itself proves he never loved her, but she doesn't care, because all he is to her is a prize.

I finally gave up on Naruto/s storytelling when Kishi threw in a mini Black Zetsu who lives under Kaguya's armpits and was apparently responsible for all the events that have happened.
Too bad, I clung onto this series way too long.

What's worse is that his death didn't even bring them together. They didn't speak for two whole years after the war

Holy kitten you're right!!! O.o Hinata and Naruto don't speak for two whole years and suddenly they remember Neji (and only Neji) during the wedding?! What the kitten?? Someone's getting lazy on the writing lol. Kishimoto is more transparent than tracing paper. XD

To be perfectly honest, I think Oda could've resolved all of those above since long ago. But this is Jump we're talking about. So of course they would've made Oda drag it out as much as he can, i.e: milking the series for all its worth. Even the current Dressrosa arc is problematic.
Mashima also has a similar pacing to his series (pre-GMG), but with Mashima, I feel that he knows the right timing to lay down all the cards for us all to see. I'll be honest, I was close to dropping the series around GMG, but I'm glad I stuck through the Tartaros arc. And boy! was the pay-off worth it.....
Mashima's already laid down all the cards, and we're now (definitely) heading towards the endgame. Now that I think of it, the double chapters we're getting is genius move on Mashima's part, (or the publisher's part).....

I thought that he "helped" whatever that means. One look at that movie and it doesn't look like he had any involvement in it.
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.
