@ Pepsi, not sure, but didn't Sasuke say something about waiting for the tree? Kishi has to find some way for them to fight, I just don't know exactly what way it is.

 

EDIT; Just posted this long rant on fornever's Sakura dislike video about her good deeds and change. Now, I'm wondering which comment I'll get first.

I think team 7 and the edo kages will find away to dispel the itsukuyomi and then they will fight Madara and the tree(if the tree is Kaguya). I just hope Madara doesn't get another asspull and dispels the edo tensei.

Honestly, how Sakura and Kakashi will fight alongside EThokage and godlike narusasu is a huge question.

Maybe those two will deal with Black Zetsu. That's a more plausible scenario, IMO.

that's alright I stopped watching Forneverworld now. I mean I used to like Hinata but her fans and her always saying Naruto kun just did it for me.

I don't let her fanbase affect my feelings for her.   I truly like Hinata, I'm just disappointed that she never received the proper development that her character needed. It's how I feel about Orihime from Bleach.  I love the character, but not when it involves them with the main male character whom they have no chemistry with nor an existing mutual attraction.  And I hate how her fanbase goes on about how "useless" Sakura is while ignoring the fact that Hinata's success/loss ratio isn't any better.  In fact, I take that back, Sakura's defeated Sasori and as a top medic nin, has saved many people on the battlefield on-panel with her healing abilities and rescued Naruto from the brink of death.

 

If we want to argue on the basis of contribution in combat,  Sakura has Hinata beat there.

I hope you're not piggy backing off of Naruto-> Hinata and translating it to Ichigo-> Orihime because Orihime is vastly different from Hinata, and that goes double for their love interest relationship. It's fine if you think they don't have chemistry, but Orihime's love for Ichigo does not blind her to people around her, while Hinata's love has shown to do so.

 

I just hate when people compare Hinata & Orihime just because they love the protagonist. It's an insult to Orihime's character to do so.

I'm not "piggybacking" on anything nor did I imply that Hinata and Orihime are similar, character-wise.  My main and primary point is that I dislike how a fanbase sometimes projects its hatred on a character simply because of the relationship involved or if the other fanbase goes around bashing the character they like and feel the need to respond in kind(which I see happen on A LOT of fandoms, not just the ones I used as an example). That is the only point I am making.   Criticize or praise a character, just not solely when it comes to "Their fans bashed my character!" or "I don't like the idea of them with said-character."

I've watched the defence video and got an odd question. Why do people stress the second syllable in Sakura's name? She's SAkura.

 

Let's get back to the subject. Regarding Sakura's battle behavior.

What could she possibly do?

 

Flee? Not an option.

 

Stand still behind Naruto and Sasuke. Well, she obviously thought that to be a downgrade decision. Although I can understand her emotional reasoning, I feel somewhat disappointed because she could at least try to gather some information about the powerful enemy from her teammates. But then again, I don't know if it would have proved useful, seeing that she's out of Madara's league. Moreover, Madara could be the first to attack with an unknown result.

 

Act. A bold move. And she performed it quickly, almost without any hesitation, in order to overcome her fear. If it's not considered character development then what is it? Fear is the one's biggest foe on the battlefield when you have to fight. And Sakura used to be terrified of Madara when she was transported to kamui and almost killed by the man when Obito sent her back. So she chose to confront Madara knowing the risks (and covered for possible damage as best as it was possible with her medical abilities). So the front attack was to reinforce her inner strength rather than to punch Madara. Plus, she hoped to become a diversion. However, destroying ground under Madara's feet and sending debris towards him would have been a more effective and safe way. But Kishimoto wanted the reader to witness that Sakura actually has guts just like Naruto. In other words, she is worthy of being Naruto's comrade. Also, it was done to show Sakura's another achievement and Sasuke's attitude towards bonds with team seven.

LOI was kind of a step back for NS

When Part 2 started it felt like Sakura was making a smooth transition, whenever Sasuke was brought up it was mostly like she was thinking of a comrade (like she accepted that after her confession to Sasuke that they are just aren't going to get together because Sasuke is just not interested) and during the Sai arc it made it clear that Naruto and Sakura want to save Sasuke not for themselves but for each other.
And Ofcourse NS were getting closer because of it, the transition was actually going really well....then LOI happened and Kishi hammered in that Sakura loves Sasuke whether she likes it or not....then she falls out of love with him this time for real.

Like I said I feel like Kishi was doing a perfect job with the romance, then decided to stir up the fandom, then he realized what a mistake that was, panicked and then started over this time more rushed.

Wouldn't senjutsu be an explicit deus ex machina? I mean, there was a hint that Sakura has potential when it comes to genjutsu, but hardly she is of Senju blood or some type of reincarnation.

The setup is something else. We have Team 7, Edo Hokages, 3 of which are handicapped, and well there's a tool laying there. Perhaps one of the kages can take it. Can Hashirama even move? Is Tobirama recovered? What is Sarutobi going to do next? How can Minato assist with no arms? This is quite something else.
