On the first day yes, due to FRAUD.

Kakashi and Sasuke has the biggest fanbase in Japan and they made an advertisement that looked they were the important characters in the movie before revealing about Hinata. The Kakashi and Sasuke fans bought the merchandises and the tickets. Now that they know they were being cheated, they asked for refund. But unlike the previous movies, the LAST is the only movie that doesn't allow refund. Hence people are raging that this is a huge fraud :zaru:

This is the absolute biggest kitten I have ever heard in my life!

Summary:

Kishi only made NH because he PITIED Hinata. Sakura was close ROMANTICALLY to Naruto but he pitied Hina. SP did a commercial with Sakura getting JEALOUS that Hinata is a heroine,

The Main character can't even get a girl who is hopelessly, creepily obsessed with him without her interference. Pathetic. Nardo's a complete joke, no doubt about it. 

NH can have him. I'll take NARUTO over this farce of him any day.  

The sad part is, by (being forced) doing this Sakura's now been relegated to a side character in a franchise she used to be top female dog in. :argh:

To think I used to have a soft spot for Hinata despite her naruto-kunning. I HATE her now. I read the spoilers for the movie and no sasusaku? LOL they deserve it. Naruhina and sasusaku wanted their pairings to be canon, well good work their pairings ruined the manga. Lolol. I'm not even mad anymore, I'm soooo glad I'm moving on from this series. Can't wait to see what kitten kishimoto will have to say when he talks about sakura and her parents. Poor karin , sakura, sasuke, naruto, team taka and yamato fans. I'm so sorry these characters had to be destroyed because of two pairings that had little development and because of this it threw off the whole flow of the manga ,making this movie seem like some ooc kitten, especially naruto.

Kishimoto keeps contradicting himself. Apparently he had always planned for NH, but then he did in fact consider NS, but then he went with NH anyway because he felt pity for Hinata. Furthermore, he never really cared for developing NH, but then SP convinced him to create The Last. 

 

Also, SP has apparently released a commercial where Sakura is feeling down because she has essentially been stripped of her heroine status.
