However I totally agree with you about Kishi writing normal character in his manga. I mean Naruto become friend with Sasuke at 12. They didn't even spend a year together and Naruto goes to so much length to save him. How come that bond become this deep and goes this far?

Because Kishimoto endorses unrealistic relationships.

most of them were just like woah final movie of naruto? That anime ive been watching in my childhood but never got to finish it? Hell yeah gotta watch iitt

Confused because some of them dont read the manga and just jump into the movie since they got excited about it being the "last" movie and it being the "end".

they were like why is Kakashi hokage? is that Sasuke? etc. they watched it out of excitement but some of them liked the animation and think the movie was cool. But there were also some of my friends who thought the story was bland and didnt fit what they thought Naruto is. Most of my friends are NH or Hinata fans tho..im the only female who likes anime in our group..and the only ns fan too lol but even so they said they aren't satisfied with it and that they hate Naruto on it.


But last friday as i was waiting for my sister in the mall i heard some movie-goers ranting. They were a group of boys.. Im not sure how i can translate it here as it would all turn into kittens lol but most of them hate Naruto (the character).

So generally, the common comment here is their dislike to Naruto in this movie. The graphics were great but even on facebook a lot were bored with the story and says it has filler-vibes with Hibata filling the role of the client

Well no it's just because i saw a bunch of comments about the movie on my french facebook. It's been since the movie is released here that I'm seeing people saying they hated it, that it was lame, illogical, and that it wasn't a movie about ninjas and more about crappy love. Some people like it because of hinata of course.
So, I saw many comments saying that the theatres was like almost empty when they went to watch the movie.
If I find some official reviews I will show you.

Thank you for the clarification. Seems like the "universal disdain" isn't so widespread as many initially thought. It'll be interesting to see how much profit is gained from the collective foreign markets.

Doesn't necessarily mean people like it.  People are often drawn to terrible movies as well, just to see how terrible it is for themselves.  

 

That's what happened with Fifty Shades of Gray. Horrible film, universally panned, but it made money just from the "train wreck" factor.

 

I'm not saying that's the case in France, but it could be.  It just doesn't make logical sense that a large sector of the global population -- regardless of their fandom bias -- could possibly be satisfied with the saccharine, nonsensical, non sequitur load of crap that The Last serves up.

 

Then again, France is known for its inexplicable fascination with Jerry Lewis......

Sudden headcanon I just had :

 

WHAT IF KISHIMOTO MADE "ROAD TO NINJA" AN 'AU' STORY ALL ON PURPOSE ? I mean, maybe he wanted to say " it's not real, it's not like that ".

I'll never forget that he asked for RtN to be aired just when 'The Last' was beginning in theaters...
