If you pause the cutscenes even for a second, and resume it.. the audio goes out of sync. Clipping issues with items on the field... etc.

*blinks* Since practically always
Most games nowadays from a wide variety of genres, you can pause the cutscenes (even skip them all-together) and you could do that for years now.
It's not new >.>;

I knew you can skip them (not in all games though). And I know for some games on your pc you can pause the cutscenes. But on ps3 never knew and I've played quite a few games. And I was always angry that they disturbed me in the middle of a cutscene

That seems to be the story of this franchise; one step forward, another step back.
Take Killzone 2 for instance. The assault class in multiplayer is absolutely broken. Not only do they get heavier armor and a boost pill that speeds you up and allows further health regen, but the class is tied to rocket launchers. Rocket launchers have been the bane of multiplayer since it began, but it's not often I've seen it quite this cheap. If I pop into the wrong game - say, with a lot of noobs and/or douchebags who love to use the rocket launcher or assault class in general - it's exceedingly simple to be shredded to a point where your number of deaths triple your kills.
It's a glaring problem to the point where I have to wonder just how the devs missed it and who exactly thought it was a good idea; obviously a lot of the classes have their strengths and abilities, but putting the rocket launcher with the class that already has some of the best abilities was just a massive brain fart on someones part.

@torxe: Really? You've never played MGS4? Red Dead Redemption? You can pause during their cutscenes too.

not to be rude or anything but if you're playing multiplayer in kz2 the purpose was to work together in a team. You kind of needed to take a RPG role in a FPS if you get my poin. This was my first game I actually played quite active online and never had any trouble any game that said custom weapons or had the assault class crossed out I simply ignored. without the assault class the Scout class was very overpowered. tbh I never ever played the assault class once. (my fav was engineer with the boost secundary). You need to take into account that a Assault only could carry 3 rockets at a time which was a huge disadvantage. I think the better armor was actually quite a good compensation for them. After all you don't want your main attack force sweeped off by snipers would you?
I've always ordered my scout to never engage any enemy that didn't directly bring the objective in danger (arm/disarm some explosive or the delivery of a propaganda speaker) or assaults. And in a game without assaults my scout never fell in battle (even if he did take out other enemy's then. Although the tactician can be quite a pain in the ass to for a scout with his air support)

No never played any of those games. Although I think of it as a shame to not have played MGS4, but my budget just didn't allow it bought a new car at the time of release. The car was worth it though

New inFAMOUS 2 trailer.
You gonna be the good boy? Or the bad man? I'm taking the good side. The bad karma lady is not really good looking.

Hell yeah, really looking forward to that.
I'll be good in my first playthrough, then mess around with the evil powers afterwards.
Also, Modern Warfare 3 to be revealed. It'll be interesting to see how the game fares with key members of Infinity Ward no longer involved in Call of Duty.
EDIT: Activison says it's a hoax. Guess we'll find out what the hell it is next week.

And hopefully they fix the multiplayer up. Black Ops is a mess still. And MW2 was buggy, even after patches.

Looks good, apparently the melee attacks are better. Enemies look more varied to instead of the 3 lonatic clans. (for as much you can see of them in the trailer)
Like his teammates, they look more active than Derrek on his rooftop
Definitely going to be the good guy. Always am, for some reason I like being worshipped more than being feared. (In games that is)

uncle ben's words might have a slight role in my choice too though.
as for the font => I didn't notice but I use ctrl+scroll a lot perhaps you have zoomed out a bit by accident?

Just finished it too, actually. Had a 5 hour marathon. XD
Honestly, I think KZ2 actually had better cutscenes than KZ3 did. Their storytelling this time seemed like something was missing. I thought they could've done better with Ryan Winstone and Malcolm McDowell. Still, it was fun watching the two go on a ham-to-ham combat, and that made my gaming experience, that and taking on that MAWLR.
@Torxe: Yes! That fixed my font. Thanks! Didn't know what ctrl+scroll does.

Well aware, but the thing is I've come across matches lately where three quarters of the opposing team were using the assault class. When they're boosting like mad it's not something you can really defend against. One or two assault class users is not a huge problem or particularly unfair, but about eight to ten of them is pretty overwhelming, especially when they start sticking together and hammering your team.
Clearly you're very good. I tend to find it difficult to never die in any match, even if assaults are not around. Usually, after killing someone as a scout, they'll have a general idea of where you are and someone with a sniper rifle themselves or an M82 can take you out. You're never hard to spot if you're not cloaked; just aim for the red or blue lights in the distance.
Actually, I think the Scout class is a lot better balanced. Not only can it kind of cancel itself out - very often it can become a battle of the snipers, not to mention the basic assault rifle can also do some basic sniping, so you're never truly safe from getting picked off yourself - but the cloak is dissipated after one kill, it's very easy to figure out where you are afterwards and if you miss, you miss. There's no crosshair without using the scope either, which means if somebody knows where you are, you're going to have a hell of a time surviving if they get close. You could switch to the pistol, but that won't always save you. Then there's, like you said, air support, which I can attest to being a pain in the ass for a sniper.
The assault class with rocket launchers, on the other hand, is much different. You basically just point in the general direction and fire. The splash damage will take care of the rest. You don't even really have to aim well with the damn thing; if you miss a dead on shot, hey, no problem, you'll get him anyways. Boost ensures that you'll get wherever you want to go before anyone can notice you or react. Heavy armor ensures that you won't be stopping them before they rocket you into pieces; it's difficult for anyone with standard weapons to stop them either, because the heavies can soak up damage for a good while before an assault rifle will actually drop them unless you're really, really good with the headshots (even then they'll probably still get a rocket off).
Really, each of these individual perks are not what what makes the assault class overpowered. You could split them up among classes and it would help balance against other classes. The problem is that they're all together. You could just remove the rocket launcher and put that with another class and the assault class would be much more palatable. It would even be fine if they still had the grenade launcher as an option, as while powerful, it does have it's downside. But adding rocket launchers to said class is just a perfect storm of cheapness.
Here's the problem though. You get enough guys in one game using them and the three rocket limit really doesn't amount to a hill of beans. Three or more guys always converging near your spawn point with rocket launchers is not something you can guard against. Dodging won't help, because there's several of 'em. Should you get one, they boost back up with a fresh load of rockets in seconds.
It's apparently well under development anyways, so I doubt anyone really waiting on it is going to have to wait for too long. Activision is not going to go without a Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward or not.
Asian women frequently are; I'm always gaga over Asian women.
I can never be a bad guy. Despite just being a game, I always feel bad when I try. When I'm not given a choice, I can handle it, because I'm bein forced to be that way. But when I can choose which side, I always end up being a white hat.
