Jokes aside it is. First it was the Obito fanboys, and now some SS shippers have converted themselves. And now there is an increasing number of people who genuinely like the interaction. I think it's only a matter of time until they outnumber the SS Fanbase. Of course, there still needs to be a lot of time though.

(This only my impression based opinion though.)

Their relationship is like a teacher/student where the teacher is revealed to be a murderer and she doesn't like it. 15 years later she calls her teacher for help with her boyfriend, she has to set aside her feelings because her boyfriend is in trouble.

Let's just put trust in Naruto, and his will to never give up. No matter what, he will always love Sakura.

And let's put trust in Sakura, she has shown us many times that she puts Naruto over Sasuke. Even after Sasuke declared that he wanted to be Hokage, she never wavered from supporting Naruto's dream. In fact that very dream, and how close THEY (as in two of them) were to it, is what she was thinking of when she was trying to save him.

There is no way she will be pick Sasuke over Naruto, in anything.
Only thing that is left is for Naruto to confess.

I made a bit too much fun of SS. I'm really not worried about SS itself. I'm worried that karma might bite me in the ass with a SS scene because well....I have been arrogant and cocky mocking SS a bit too much.

I'd like to view them as a sibling relationship. Where the brother and sister cares for each other and always appear when one is in need. But your description makes sense too.
