I think this whole thing is pretty mad, but this is coming from the same guy that would treat a pairing like SK like comedy, makes a pairing like SS happen, and would kill one of his named characters just to develop a bond between two people, so it's not really all that surprising anymore.

I look at those pictures and all I can say is wow. So the reason why Naruto loves Sakura so much in the entire manga is because his rivalry with Sasuke. SERIOUSLY! You think anyone with a brain who can be logical and use common sense would actually believe that??? This is bullsh*t in a whole new level, it goes beyond bs. This is the best excuse Kishimoto can use to explain the 15 year development of NS, Sakura demoted from her heroine role to a rivalry trophy. You truly are pathetic Kishimoto trying to make us look like fools in wanting to believe such bs. I thought Twilight was the perfect example of bad writing but THIS, this tops it all. The best bad writer award goes to you Kishimoto.

 

I suppose it'd be one thing if he actually wrote that, but wasn't one of the basic purposes of chapter 3 to dispel this kind of thing? Didn't he like her because he empathized with her? The best part is, of course, what it means for Naruto and Sakura. Who knew that deep down two of Konoha's hero's were just petty kitten. 

 

Well, I suppose, it wouldn't be fair is Sasuke was Team Seven's only jackass.

You know, I look at those images of Naruto and Sakura, and now I can safely say I can put this movie and all it's BS behind me. When I look at those pictures, I don't see Naruto and Sakura at all, not the Naruto and Sakura I know and love. No, they're just shells of the great characters they used to be. 

 

I can safely say I am never going to see that movie, nor am curious about that movie. This is because this movie, truly isn't the old Naruto I once fell in love with and looked forward to seeing. Those new characters are fake and bland in my eyes. 

 

Edit: lol, looking at the image where Sakura goes, "But it's over," and looking at Naruto's expression, I feel like the real Naruto would be thinking, "But you're wrong. It wasn't just because you loved Sasuke."

That sums up the movie pretty well, lol. It really does just prove there's nothing in the manga that would indicate that NaruHina was the ending pairing. It was all pointing to NaruSaku, but they needed this movie to change that apparently. *sigh*

The movie is supposed to fill in the giant holes Kishimoto did with the manga ending, and yet those holes will never be filled because Kishimoto killed his manga period. I keep repeating a 90 minute movie will never out best 15 years of NS development through the manga.

i wont watch this movie because the ending, from a story-telling stand point, was sh*tty. kishimoto killed not only naruto and sakura but everything else about his manga just to make the NH fans happy. he murdered his story for no reason. i have lost all respect for kishimoto and i refuse to look at anything related to his work. i had the next naruto game on reserve at gamestop. after the end, i went back and got my money back. 

 

as a writer, it shames me to see how far it has fallen but the naruhina/sasusaku fans got what they wanted. they didn't care how much everything else suffered. they just wanted their ships. well, congrats. you got what you wanted.

They also throw crap to Sai and Yamato for seeing Sasuke and NS as it really is. For awhile some NH fans hated Minato and Kushina for supporting NS until their last-minute retcon and many disapprove of Jiraiya/Tsunade and Obito/Rin. Basically anything that remotely resembles NaruSaku or is supportive to it in any way gets crap. XD

And this is what made me scream kitten at my screen so many times that it took me a good twenty minutes to shut up and continue watching. That's how horrible this film is to the characters.
