I don't know... I couldn't get into Haruka. He was so bland to me. And Mako blushing each and every time when Haru says something was kind of... funny? I laughed a lot and was like: Dude, just tell him you have a crush on your best friend XD !

I don't have any ships in there XD I can see why people are shipping them though.

Haikyuu!! is still better in my eyes If you haven't seen it yet, you should! I think you might like it.

That's the biggest flaw of Root A. I just can't connect to the main character. The anime watchers get such a wrong impression of this manga. They barely get to witness the gravity of the sadness and tragedy in this manga.

Actually these last eps are the most important ones for his character development... overall the anime obviously chose to focus more on the side characters to give them more development, granted this all could work out if everything wasnt all juggled up in only 12 eps

I hope they dont kitten it up in these last eps and that in the future, a Tokyo Ghoul Brotherhood produced by another anime studio is viable option

It took some time, but yeah, we made this deader than death thread active! (Now I have no reason to join another forum to talk about TG; too lazy anyways).

Ch. 71 really must have taken over people in a storm, lol. I remember seeing it the first time on tumblr- It MADE me actually read the manga.

I'm still waiting for more people to join us like Ichigo500, Michi, RedFaction, Naruto85. I've stopped mentioning TG in the Great Naruto Thread b/c I don't wanna get on other people's nerves (and I just can't complain about Naruto- I have almost no energy left to do that after three months).

 

It sure took a while that's for sure, and yeah this thread itself has now become a virus once you enter it you can never leave from it lol 

 

I still remember when I read the chapter the first time I immediately knew right then and there that my all of the sorrow and depression I felt towards the Naruto ending just disappeared and just as my sig says the void left within me has faded that's literally what happened. Everything I wanted NS to become I see in TouKen for good reason and thank god Ishida is actually smart about making these moments subtle unlike I certain Ahem ...shi  ...shi.. ..shi ... shi ...shi  ..shi  

 

They will all join us eventually once the time comes, something tells me they'll stumble upon Tokyo Ghoul once Volume 1 comes out in June which OMG that's coming pretty soon now. I mean that's only 3 months away.

Lol, Tokyo Ghoul Brotherhood. More like: Tokyo Ghould Done Right

The side characters really do get to shine here. Especially Hinami! Like, more people have been becoming fans of her.

Overall, this storyline had much potential incoming, but it disappointed me. It's hard for me to see some character develoment b/c there wasn't a lot of him to see... Today's episode of him was good though. I loved that expression of him when he found out about that one raid.

I look at Kaneki & Touka's bond, and then I think about how strong and great it is. And then I think about Naruto and Sakura's bond, which makes me sad

Lol, I think that overall the manga convinces a lot of people. Naturally, there will be people who don't like it as much as we do. Some don't like the atmosphere. Some don't like the fact that it is very slowpaced sometimes. And some simply don't like the characters. And it's true! This manga has some flaws, but overall, I think it is a very good manga. If you are willing to look into the intricate details of the story and give some thought about what happened.
