So I thought about the ending of Naruto and I just thought of a way Kishi can troll us all.... The last few panels it shows a child that looks just like Naruto, but doesn't show any characteristics of its mother. The dialogue is something along the lines of how Naruto became Hokage and saved the world... and then it just ends.... Every ship will fight like no tomorrow claiming that the child was so and so's.......... I hope Kishi isn't going to try and pull a fast one on us.

Funny, i just re-read the confession and Sakura does seem very... hesitant/withheld when she hugs him. Just look at those panels, she seems very reluctant to be in close proximity of him like that but with sasuke...yeah you know the rest...

 

This reluctance when she is being "honest" seems very weird? surely she wouldn't be so held back about being physical if she loved him????

 

Sakura's reluctance was because she was hiding information from Naruto, it doesn't have anything to do with her not wanting to love him.

 

The point of it was so that we, the audience, along with Naruto were aware that something was off despite a love confession being a good thing. It's not about assuming the confession was fake, it was about knowing that there was more to it.

 

If you were hiding something from someone you love, be it a lover, a friend or family member, wouldn't you also feel awkward around them and when you talked with them? And Naruto being confrontational probably got her even more nervous about the secret.

I love living on the west coast. Its summer vacation, so I wont fall asleep until around 12 or 1 and that's usually when we get the chapter or at least spoilers. Though, I remember spoilers coming as early as 9 or 10 pm

Hmm... I don't think that I would have liked that just because it would have lessened the impact of a future kiss. For instance, if Sakura were to kiss him for real, it would not be as exciting.

I'm sure we'd all feel really silly if he did something like that. LOL. All of the debating for nothing. Oh well. I wouldn't stick around for that battle.

 

I would actually like to see a Shikamaru/Shukaku moment occur between Naruto and his child, where the kid questions why his dad married someone like his mom, and Naruto responds by saying, "She's got a cute forehead." 

 

EDIT: I meant Shikamaru and Shikaku, but I'm leaving the mistake up there because it's too funny.

Shukaku xD I was so confused I was like "Shikamaru and Shukaku talked?? And about what?"
