That they happened to share a dream is stupid. It sounds like he loves Hinata because she loved him forever not because of who she is as a person.

With that plot, all manga event's and Kaguya herself looks like joke, seriosly.

He doesn't want people to see the movie. This would indicate that someone forced him to take this route but that raises the question, Kishi has already reached a pretty high position in which he can do anything he wants. So who would force him to do such a thing?
