Does anyone have a translation of what it says next to each character at the bottom of the page?
Here
Sakura is next to Naruto, she clearly has not been pushed to the side. If she were, she would probably be next to Sai or Kakashi.

Call me crazy, but I'm still 100% confident. The lack of Sakura's presence combined with the initial trailer indicating Naruto would have some kind of reaction to her new looks, and the fact that the song for which the cover was made is melancholic and about friendship and bonds - all of this makes believe that NaruSaku is already canon and/or Hinata will find closure, and the red scarf is merely a means of her expressing that.
u not crazy my friend ![]()

You know what would be really funny?
If this white guy really kidnaps Hinata to marry her and his personality is just like Narutos ... then we have funny dialog at least ... ![]()

Me and Serenity Namikaze agree with you, lady GT. This all feels like Naruto turned from a Shonen manga similar to Dragonball Z to a really bad Shojo fanfiction.
Just hearing the people who is the last hope getting down makes give up.

Anyway, NS will be canon. Not giving up.
This isn't even a giving up situation....
It's a trailer and a scarf that Naruto isn't even wearing in the movie footage we've seen so far -- and you'd think if it was that important, we'd of seen it all ready -- and plus, it's a FRIENDSHIP gift. Why is this hard to understand? Kishimoto is not just going to turn around 15 years of NaruSaku development in one movie.
Is it THAT hard to think of the notion that this is a gift of FRIENDSHIP? That Hinata has realized that she has to move on from Naruto and that it is a gift to be friends? The movie is about the Hyuuga clan. Naruto said he was going to change the Hyuuga clan back in part 1. Kishi obviously doesn't have the time to fit all this into a manga. This could be about that after he encounters the villain in this movie that things start to change and that Naruto does what he promised Neji he would do....

KnS posted something about this movie being a make up for her fans since she doesn't end up with Naruto... You guys should read it, it's really good and most likely true.
i don't understand how anyone would feel obligated to make hinata relevant just because her development is god awful.

But, guys, imagine this (Last time I'll bring this up, I promise!): Sakura gives Naruto the scarf and confesses her feelings once again on a beautiful snowy evening, while Hinata watches from afar with a content smile on her face. They even get to kiss, which is extremely romantic! What's even better is that it's a subversion of what happened in the Land of Iron. They'll both be in a snowy setting, talking about their feelings, once again, except, this time, it yields positive results! ![]()

Considering this movie has been in production since 2012 (at the latest), and the fact the manga hasn't been particularly kind to NaruHina since 615, I simply can't bring myself to believe or accept that Kishimoto has ever had any intention of making NaruHina canon. Even if he wanted to tease, there were so many better ways of doing it. A confirmed pairing might even have garnered more interest and made more money if it was built up in the manga to be implied and be confirmed in the movie. It would perhaps even do better commercially considering fans would know what they were getting into, and with Hinata being popular especially in the West, they would be able to bank on that.
Nah. Unless Kishimoto changed his mind at the last minute or he was pressured to change it by editors, I don't see NaruHina becoming canon. It just doesn't make any sense. He's spent too much time developing NS and setting up parallels around it for it to be thrown away on a whim. It would also be entirely out of character for Naruto to give up on Sakura, so I don't believe that's going to happen either.
For these reasons and many more, I am still 100% confident NS will be canon.

Sarcasm I hope, I'm already getting annoyed at this "NH canon" thing.

I may get a warning for this but I must say this.... I wish Neji survived and Hinata died. There I said it.
Then people would say Naruto was only with Sakura because Hinata died ![]()

Sakura is apparently the second character in the cast list. Right now she seems to be kept in the shadows for some reasons.

If this movie is about the first love thing.. then that means Kishi will bring Naruto's crush back in the story again? That would be nice I guess. Unless, Kishi decides to ignore his feelings for Hinata's - which seems pretty unlikely. But who knows.

Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.
Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.
I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

Last thing I'll post for now.
Reasons not to give up:
1- We still don't have the context for anything in the movie, both in terms of the manga and its own plot. We've only had a little more than 30 seconds of footage from the film and some ambiguous screenshots.
2- NS has so much development, that it would be simply bizarre for it to be discarded in less than 2 hours for something that hasn't been explored much for about 700 chapters and 15 years. This movie has been under Kishi's supervision, much like RtN- another NS positive film- followed his wishes. Kishi has spent about 700 chapters with all of these teases that point in the direction of NS. Besides, so far, everything related to NH is one-sided; it's about what Hinata feels and wants.
3- SP cannot reveal anything too telling about the film. There must be a reason why some things or people (*cough* Sakura *cough*) have been withheld up to this point. They must be important, but they don't want to ruin their potential role in everything. Plus, well, they have an interesting history with trolling and deceiving fans.
Don't lose hope!

I believe that the reason why there is so much hinata and naruto teasers is for trying not to lose a big part of fans which are naruhina shippers.
The series is already a huge success, they don't give a crap about a certain part of the fandom anymore. No, this teasing seems to be the real deal. With only 2 chapters, I'm not even expecting Naruto's feelings to be addressed at all. It's that bad of a scenario.
