I don't like Rika x Rio. Digimon and their pairings of side characters with main characters. It just doesn't go well when adapting this kind of pairings in most of the Digimon seasons.

My fear might come true, Tamers is fine the way it is. it dosen't need a crappy sequel or another season. 

 

I don't like Rika x Rio. Digimon and their pairings of side characters with main characters. It just doesn't go well when adapting this kind of pairings in most of the Digimon seasons.

 

Maybe the writers thought what kakudou did was very innovative and try to copy not pairings the leading characters with very subtle development to ship that aren't the leads. But that leads to disappointment.

I agree too digimon has art and general concept but shipping i can not trust.

I don't have the abilities to play it, but I heard is very popular game of Digimon. It was just only for Japan, but two months ago was release world wide right bud?  By that time of its release reach 2 millions of downloads. It is app game right?

finished the story. Trying to build my Ideal party first lol so I'm going through new game + first then I will try to comlpete the royal knights side quests. I was stuck on Leopardmon

That is good, you should download the demon lords side quest are free. So are you using the special Numemon to level up fast?

It seems a sequel of a Digimon season is a bad option from we're seeing from Tri. Insert a character like Meiko, focus on a side character and weakening the plot is a sequel I wouldn't want to see of Digimon. They're destroying the fun of watching Digimon and its story.

 

I hope they change this route at some point. Just let side characters be depicted as main characters before showing a season and everything would be fine.

Yeah, but they might depict Ryo and Rika moments along with Takato and Jeri like they're doing now in Tri's latest part with Tai and Meiko.
