It's crazy to think they seem like they have to tag team against one man. Truly, we are put in a underdog situation. Is that ironic? Maybe.

NaruHina and SasuSaku vs NaruSaku and Kishimoto, I'm cool with that :P

I'm cool with it as well. I wish I can make a video that shows the beginning and how they have to fight all the way up to be the winner, defeat all odds. I see it as first it was NH vs. NS, then the main event is where we're at. I can see a promo between NH and SS.

SS: You lost the battle. I thought you are credible enough to be canon!
NH: I got screwed, ok. 631 was full of kitten! And you the one to speak! You have been nothing but downhill! How certain you can defeat NS!?
SS: Shut up!.....You dealt a good amount of damage to NS with making random claims about Naruto holding her hand, even if we see other series doing this as a friendly term. So, now, we handled the rest.
NH: Just hope NS don't kiss for any reason.
SS: I'll make sure Karin stays away from Sasuke...

Man, I watch too much wrestling. >_>

:D haha :D i would say that in part 1 NH and SS have big popularity but Kishi in part 2 trashed both ships and fans are desperate now more then

in past. its like give them hope and later just ignore them.

Even if you put SS/NH together, it doesn't even add up to half the development, parallels, or naruto character supporters NS has.

The Japanese fandom already knew the pairing is going to be since part 1. Why are they going to change their minds now? At this point in the manga when the story could end in December or starting 2015.

How much of a possibility do you think it is, that SS/NH will try to twist things round?

How much of a possibility do you think it is, that SS/NH will try to twist things round?

Depends on what you mean by "twist things around."

In my multi-fandom experience, rabid vocal supporters of doomed ships rarely (if ever) admit they were wrong.  When the final blow is struck and it's over -- when there is no more room to pretend or argue or ignore or rationalize -- they resort to other outlets for their frustration.

These outlets typically take the form of:

1) Bashing the author for "leading them on" and/or "dumping on his/her own story" by cementing the wrong final pairing.

2) Loud declarations as to how much better it would have been if their ship had won instead, and why the final ship still sucks.

3) Abject hatred of the story, the author, and anyone who continues to like it after it was "ruined."

4) Denial and a continuation of the fantasy of their preferred ship, ignoring canon and replacing it in their minds with what they would rather believe.

5) Some combination of the above.

6) All of the above.

Another annoying phenomenon that is certain to occur?  After NS becomes canon in an inarguable manner, this site will see a deluge of fresh joiners who will claim they "OMG always loved NaruSaku ALWAYS."  They are frequently 11th hour shipjumpers who want to share the winners' circle, or those who were too afraid of being wrong to commit themselves in advance.

But check closely.  Often you can see that their pants are actually on fire.

yes When 631 came out, I saw many people saying if NS were to happen it would be bad writing. That it would ruin the story, that if so the handholding shouldn't have happened, Hinata should've been over Naruto etc.

Well at least they're acknowledging the possibility. :P

This is true mainly for the avatar and Harry Potter fandoms. Though when I was wrong about hxh I just excepted I was wrong and went to find what I missed for Hxg to see how it worked. Though now I don't really care about harry potter pairs, due to the J.K second thoughts stuff.

i read some interview with J.K after end of Harry Potter that she regret that HxH did not happen. Well of course it s wierd to hear that from author of story,

Well, this is my first time being a part of a fandom for a series that's still going on, so I was just wondering. But I can't believe people are just going to rush over here, like half of them weren't calling people on this site delusional, and try to play it off as always supporting this pairing.

I mean, I believe that when NS is made canon there will be some people who change their mind and might actually try to look at all aspects of Sakura's character,( I honestly believe most people still only see part 1 Sakura.), but to act like you love the pairing just because it happened, makes those people seem more fake than Sai's smiles.

This is true mainly for the avatar and Harry Potter fandoms.

A lot more than those.  This is a partial list just off the top of my head:

Several other ships in Harry Potter, besides RH vs. HH
Star Trek
Star Wars EU
Sherlock Holmes (including Sherlock)
Doctor Who
X-Files
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Twilight
Hunger Games
Xena Warrior Princess
Friends
House
Merlin
Vampire Diaries
Artemis Fowl
Arrow
Big Bang Theory
Pirates of the Caribbean

Personally I think this was the most foolish thing she ever did giving the commotion it caused.

At the risk of repeating myself on this subject, Rowling only made herself look ridiculous by mentioning it after seven years.  It doesn't change what she wrote, how she wrote it, or what R/H fans new all along -- that R/H was endgame.  It's one thing to personally prefer H/Hr for whatever reason, it's another thing entirely to argue that it was obvious or even hinted at in the book.  Having Rowling say it might have been a mistake, personality-wise, to put Ron and Hermione together in no way vindicates readers who claimed H/Hr was plain as day in the plot.

It would be very similar if, seven years from now, Kishimoto were to say, "You know, it might not have been the best idea to put Naruto and Sakura together.  They might have been happier with other people."  NH fans would crow about it, as if they were right all along, but all that counts is what the author writes IN THE STORY.

I seriously doubt Kishimoto would say something that absurd later on, but I never thought Rowling would, either.   :wallbash:

Well said.

I also have an experience when I was in Reply 1994 fandom. Some of them and I bet a pairing and some others bet to the rival pairing. Outside Korea, the pairing that I have chosen is not so popular compared to the rival ship. In Korea, it's total opposite. The rival pairing bashed us that the pairing we have chosen was awful and they said that their pairing would happen. It turned out that my bet went to canon. Fans of the rival pairing did:

1. They bashed and they cursed the writer and the producers. Some of them had threatened them via twitter, tumblr, and other social media sites.

2. They said that the writer and the producer ruined the story.

3. They denied the fact and tried twisting the facts.

4. They created a fanfic for their ship.

That day when the final episode of Reply 1994 was aired was a hell day for the rival pairing fans. Still the same.
