If by genius you mean copying from the fans and putting it in his own story and declaring it as canon, then the answer is yes. Kishi is a genius at the art of copying and pasting.
Kishi it seems wants to surpass Steve Jobs.

The fact that Kishi pulled this stunt with Salad parentage and Saura's supposed mirriage gives me the slightest glimmer of hope that even the IT theory might be possible. I don't even care if he has anything to replace it with. I just want everything in the story's current universe to be erased.
